reporter: "I think you've said it very well..." You sure bro?
Been in Vegas last couple years and probably played at Doug's table 4 or 5 different times and seen first hand no less than 3 legitimate scummy angles. Not a Lee fan at all.
Doug was at my table all day during Day 1 of the ME last year. He managed to irritate everyone at the table by playing exceptionally slow and pestering the dealers while they shuffled the cards. Everyone just wanted to play as many of hands as possible and he greatly hindered that. (Let's be honest, Day 1 of the ME is slow enough as it is)
Doug admits to slow rolling in the video. His argument is the same as a child "He started it!". Doug Lee continues to be the largest tool box ever. His head is so big, he couldn't fit through a doorway
I met this tool several years ago after he shipped something. It was in between MTTs or on a break (can't recall). Sitting at a Holdem casino game... He was bombing there too. I recognized him and said, aren't you a poker pro...
FML, why did I ever open that can of worms?!
He started on about his TV appearances, how he was ranked as a top Canadian pro, etc. So I began trolling even more stoking his ego... So he signed his coaching business card and gave it to me as we parted ways.
Unfortunate how focused he is on the negative. "You've been all over the Internet" is instantly answered with how things are made up on 2+2. Once he vents with that for a while, the interviewer gives him a chance to take things in a different direction, but "How would you like people to think of you?" is answered again with a list of statements he says are false. Even at the end, when the interviewer is telling him he is rooting for him, Doug finishes with a "don't judge people you haven't met" message for everyone.
LOL @ "all my friends defending me"..unless it happened a couple hundred pages ago, I don't remember any of his alleged friends defending the Toolbox on this thread..
So I became friends with Doug a few months ago on facebook and liked a bunch of his stuff that came up on my news feed. He was posting deep runs of his in some of the Venetian tournaments.
One day he posted a picture of him with a big stack of chips after playing omaha. Me and like 3 others started trolling the picture because he was posting poker advice in the comments section. The problem is, he was totally unable to discern the difference between the sarcasm and praise (it was all sarcasm)
Anyways, a few days after this he started tagging me in random posts about his life calling me his friend. Then he started liking a bunch of posts on my wall.
Today, he just messaged me asking me if I wanted to buy a piece of his action in a bunch of tournies... Anyone else run into this kind of thing with him?

1) this is incredible
2) I bet your FB is premium if the quality of your WW posting is any indication at all
3) I'm friends with him on there but can't remember ever having any substantial interaction with him.
4) there's no way to say this without sounding a little humblebraggy so I apologize in advance, but since I'm doing the live updates this summer in Vegas, the potential for me to troll him through the official feed is ****ing infinite.
I imagine if you start replying to comments on his news feed stroking his ego you will get a similar reaction. I am thinking of buying a piece of his action for the lolz. Here is the private message he sent me:

WSOP STAKING
Hello Chris,
Back by popular request with many of my friends is my World Series of Poker Staking.
To date, I have over 1.9 million in recorded poker tournament (hendonmob.com) winnings and
almost 2.8 million in unrecorded winnings.
Last year in the Wsop only played in only 6 major events (I didn't play as much because of the
flu and personal/business reasons) in the summer of june/july 2015 and cashed in
2 events for around $330,000.00 Usd. Some of my friends wanted me to invest in more
events so it would increase their chances of cashing so this year I will do this
request.
For investing last year, I am gonna give you the same percentage and give you 20%
more for up to a maximum of double of what you invested last year. I can this only
because I am playing more events this year and can get more staking dollars.
For example, my Mr. Gil invested $1000 usd each in package 1 and 2 so he will get 5% of me
in the main event (1st is over 8 million x 5% is over $400,000 payout for the investor!) As a bonus he would get
$200 more so that it would be an equavent of 2 events worth around 20%. So he would get 5% of me
in the colusus with (1 rebuy) in a 7 million dollar prize pool and an $888 wsop event that would
pay $888,888 for 1st place. If I scored a million x 5% you would get an extra $50,000 for these
events!
Here are the 2 packages I am playing for the summer of 2016 Wsop and Venetion events
Package 1 Wsop Main 2016
June 2 $565x2 = $1130 Wsop Colosus (*1 rebuy), 7 million guarantee prize pool. 1 mill for 1st
(* If I don't rebuy, I will play the 565 into another event tba or satellite)
July 2 Crazy 8's Wsop, estimated 5 million prize pool, $888,888 for 1st
July 11 $10,000 Wsop main event, Estimated over 60 million in prize pool and over 8 mill for 1st
Total is $12,018
Package 2 Wsop and Venetion 2016
June 8 $1100 Venetion, 2 mill. guarantee prize pool
June 11 $1500 Wsop Million dollar maker, last year had around 10 mill in prize pool & 1.27 mill. 1st
June 18 $3000 Wsop PLO, $437,000 for 1st last year
June 22 $3500 Venetion, 3 mill. guaranteed prize pool
June 25 $1500 Wsop Monster stack, 10 mill est. prize pool
June 29 $1600 Venetion, 1 mill guarantee prize pool
Total is $12,200 in events
You have the option of buying both packages so your chances of winning a big payout is bigger!
As you can see for all investors that buy into both packages, you will get a bonus of just a little
better that 20% value for my tournments than last 2015!!
