Wanted to mention the thread, but would have looked like an idiot...
I knocked him out of a Deepstack last year. He opened in MP with KTo and I 3-bet him with AA and he called. Flop AKx. He checks and I c-bet and he proceeds to checkraise me all in (he had me covered). Thanks for the free monies, Doug!!!

Jesus that is hilarious, bet he practices that line in front of a mirror too

Doug Lee doesn't deserve all the hate in this thread and I can only think it's fueled by jealous. He's actually a very kind person and probably one of the top 50 poker players in the world. Sure maybe he has an ego but so do just about all the great players. You think Stu Ungar didn't have an ego? You think Phil Hellmuth doesn't? You think Phil Gordon doesn't? That's the drive it takes to be one of the top players in the world.

Hi
Spoiler:
07-10-2011 , 08:16 AM
I was in Vegas for 4 weeks for the WSOP, on one of the days I was playing the 2 pm deepstack and Doug Lee was at my table. He got into an argument with some other player at my table. The other player threw a chip at him (obviously a 25 denomination lol) and it hit Doug on the upper chest/neck area. Doug then snap calls the floor and goes off on this player and explains what happened. The player gets a one round penalty and Doug Lee talks about how much of a low class human being the other player is while away from the table. Brad Garret was also at the table. Anyway, just thought it was entertaining. Was a couple weeks ago.

Oh and I managed to snap a pic of the other player that threw the chip.

He's down to 129k, but still among 1D's chip leaders. The kid is a world champion. Take it down, sir!
