Doug probably never blinked so hard in his life after that hand.

I just picture Doug being so ecstatic he's just sort of whispering it to himself. That's a brutal beat.

Re: Doug Lee, biggest toolbox ever?

First off- I am just happy this thread made it back to the front page.

"Drawing Dead; The Doug Lee story" completely turn around an otherwise awful week.

I just imagine that one guy with the dramatic voice from movie trailers saying: "It just was not Doug Lee's day"

Doug Lee told me about how he beat Jerry Yang after being down 2-1 in chips. He is never drawing dead...

you don't know what it's like being that heavy and it's NOT easy to change. on the other hand, it's VERY easy to say "oh just eat less and workout." but not everybody's body makes it easy for them.

genetics and lifestyle mean a lot and it's incredibly hard to start a workout regimen without guidance.

it's also in part a psychological illness/disorder/disease (not sure of the right word here).

my dad is very heavy and he had a lapband put in and that didn't even work b/c he didn't have his mental condition in check and somehow still got his stomach to expand and he's back to precisely where he was previously. when he's around me and my brother, he eats salads and "good stuff" but obv more than makes up for it when we're not around.

i put on weight VERY easily but thankfully i also work out a ton and if i put on a few pounds, i take them off immediately so it doesn't snowball.

anyways, my point is, lay off the fat jokes/jibes. it's not easy to change at that point and it's obvious it would take gobbo a vastly disproportionately larger amount of physical and psychological will to lose a significant amt of weight.
Ok, so you put on weight easy, so do you WATCH WHAT YOU EAT???

Fricke is obv not concerned with his health or trying to be healthy at all, he tweets about "food porn" all the time and how he ate some 8 course meal at the Mandalay bay or something that's just riddled with fat laden rich foods. It's gross... I came accross his tweet page that was linked somewhere and he's describing each course of rich buttery foods and I'm reading it and thinking of what he looks like in person and it makes me sick... Why would you do that to yourself?!?!?!?! Then for a couple of days he's tweeting asking if anyone wants to go back to the reastraunt with him and eat the 8 course meal with him again.... All his twitter page is deals with food and reastraunts/food/food porn. DUDE, YOU ARE GOING TO DIE and its not due entirely to metabolism...

Jimmy makes fun of Doug, well who's the bigger toolbox?? someone who is kinda toolish in a social setting or someone who is eating themselves to death leaving behind friends and loved ones to clean up the mess and answer the questions...

Get a hold on your life while you still have it.

Eating yourself to death doesn't make you a tool. I'd say it makes you a degen of sorts

Degenerate: Having declined or deteriorated to a lower mental, moral, or physical level; debased; degraded; corrupt. Having declined, as in function or nature, from a former or original state.

Tool: A person, typically male, who says or does things that cause you to give them a 'what-are-you-even-doing-here' look. A person being taken advantage of without realizing it.

Tool>Degenerate IMO

Re: Doug Lee, biggest toolbox ever?

I haven't seen anyone mention it yet in this thread, but I thought you'd all like to know. Marco, the man who brought us the Doug Lee interviews, has been banned from 2+2. All of his posts have been deleted.

https://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/members/265790/

Word on the street is that the powers that be felt he was self-promoting too much. I, for one, am very disappointed at this news. FREE MARCO!

other than linking his videos I dont really think he brought much of anything to the forums. Im sure he had been warned prior if thats what he was banned for? This probably isnt the thread to discuss his banning though...
