LOL he had 2 mins of interview time but still forced a reference to his circuit win. I'm now wondering if this thread has made Dougie a bit hesitant to be his tool box self. I can tell he's thinking and not reacting and if not for the unintentional humor he'd be the most boring interview ever. He needs to bring the Doug of 2005 back that guy was fun!

Doug Lee Takes the Chip Lead
Level 13: 1,500-3,000, 400 ante
Doug Lee keeps picking up pots and he surged past the 800,00 mark with a duel elimination. According to Lee, Jason Mercier shoved all-in for around 50,000 from the button and Lee called out of the small blind. The player in the big blind called all-in for his last 40,000 or so.

The big blind showed pocket fours, Mercier held K-8, and Lee had pocket nines. The board ran out 10-9-2-3-5 and Lee knocked out both players to take the pot.

Lee has only chipped up since then and he is now the biggest stack in the room with around 880,000 chips.

I am happy to report he did not bust me today even though we were on the same table for awhile. He did have this gem... he bets turn, his opponent tank folds in a decent pot and he says to his opponent, "Good fold, you should be proud of yourself" w/ a straight face.
