This is SO 100% Doug Lee.. He has a total of 4 posts. 2 posts in this thread basically almost defending Doug Lee.. 2 other posts he made were both about matters where this thread is accusing him of, acting like he is against such matters..

It wouldn't surprise me at all too that he would do this..

I have a couple of Doug Lee stories.

First is years ago, not long after his original circuit event win.

Im at the Mirage playing 20/40 and he sits on my right. He buys in for 300 and plays like a complete idiot, runs like god and gets it up to like 3000. We exchange small talk during this time. He asks if I'm hungry and said he would buy lunch. I make sure he is coming back and decide f it, he is the game if he is going to be gone for 30 minutes I might as well get a free meal out of it.

We go to the noodle bar and he orders while I wash my hands. It ends up being 1 meal to split which I thought was kinda weird but whatever. Anyways I assumed he was just messing around and playing bad but find out during our conversation that was his normal game. I was pretty astonished to say the least and even more so when he tried to give me some tips.

Fast forward an hour or two later and he has dusted off the 3k and rebuys for 200. He gets that down to 50 and pulls out some 20's and re ups back to 200. He loses that in quick order and storms off all upset without saying anything. The table wonders aloud if he is coming back. I thought it was odd he would leave without saying bye to someone he ate with 2hours earlier but that was the case.

A few years later we ended up in the same 2/5NL game at the Bellagio. Im on full blown tilt rebuying pretty frequently after getting stacked by Doug where he made a real bad call on the flop, got lucky, followed by me making a real bad call on the turn. Anyways I reload a couple of times in quick succession and then win a couple of pots and have a stack of like 700.

I defend against Doug and CR pretty on a flop where I flop the nut flush draw. Turn bricks and I check to him knowing he will bet and planning on shoving on him. He bets like full pot, maybe more which sucked for my plan but I follow through and he snap calls and justice is served with a river spade.

The dealer counts out my chips and he goes nuts claiming I rebought more than the max and calls the floor over and tries to tell them I rebought the hand before and he should only have to pay out 500 total.

This man is obviously socially awkward judging from his video and weird pictures. I "kind of" feel bad for him.He seems very needy for the approval of others. Doug Lee poker for life

This is actually pretty much what happened to my buddy. It was a $500 tournament but my friend plays 10-25 typically. Doug and him got into an argument and doug then called him an amateur. He challenged Doug to HU for any stakes and apparently Doug said that it wouldn't be worth it since my friend couldn't afford to play him.
