Point of order: this a thread for the many fans of Doug; haters will not be tolerated here!

He's cashed for over $70k so far this year and over $100k last year in tournaments alone. Even if he is break-even in tournaments, he can probably stake himself with his real estate business.

Why all the hate for Doug? He has always struck me as a really nice guy. So, he gives awkward interviews. I am guessing very few people ITT have ever been interviewed for anything, so no telling what any of us would look/sound like in front of a camera.

I've played 2/5 with him in LV numerous times and believe me - everyone loves him and if they don't they are idiots.
The look on his face and his words - on camera and off - are the annoying part.

I don't follow this thread a lot but can you give us an example of this constant angleshooting?

It's pretty sad when people get more **** over angleshooting than they do scamming, cheating, or stealing.

I've met Doug before and he was very nice in the short 30 sec interaction I had with him. Even let me snap a picture.

Played with him for several hours twice at different tournaments and there was nothing that indicated in any way he was shady or an angle-shooter at all. If others have specific examples from personal experience, then I would be willing to listen.

I can only comment on the several hours I played poker with him and found him to be a very nice guy. Enjoyed playing with him.

Besides the 221 pages itt, anybody have any specific stories?

he was very nice to me too when I wanted to get a picture of another poker player who was not agreeable, mr. lee said it would be alright with him if I took his picture instead

*Yawn* Do people actually find this response funny any more? Anytime someone has a different opinion or favors the "villain" there is always some noob saying "Hi (insert villains name here)". It's probably one of the most used phrases only behind "3.50". It was probably funny when this thread was created in 2008 but since then it has been used in this tread probably 75+ times.

Like mentioned before this thread is from 2008. I have been following it a long time but between the massive amounts of weed I smoke and just not really giving a **** I don't really recall any recent specific stories that relate to his angle shooting. Perhaps you could give us all cliffs since you seem to be so up to date.

Also the majority have reached the conclusion that Doug Lee is ****ing awesome and the man, don't see too many people critiquing that.
