General question. Why is this thread allowed to continue and other threads which focus on other poker pros (like vanessa rousso or doc sands) get squashed?

In general enforcement of forum rules is extremely inconsistent on this site. If Doug were to be part of some entity that advertises on 2+2 it is almost certain that this thread would cease being open.

i just watched the interview and the guy is clearly hurt and upset about the things being said in this thread and I genuinely feel bad for him....

not to mention this thread isn't even funny at all. the same 2-3 jokes and one liners recycled and posted by a new wave of nerds trying to fit in at the "cool kids table" like we are back in 8th grade or something.

I cashed in a survivor tourney at the Borgata on 9/12. One of the big stacks was an asian guy that looked really familiar. In the cashier line I said "Hey you look really familiar, do you play in Columbus?"

He said "You may have seen me on TV" and smirked at me. After seeing some of the photos and videos on this thread I'm 95% sure it was him!

I was in the presence of greatness and didn't realize it!

Please read the thread and focus on the posts where players describe his ridiculous angle shooting attempts and d-bag moves he makes, the try to tell me he doesnt deserve this thread

I've spoken to people who mention this thread specifically as a reason they don't visit these forums any longer.

The people who are perpetuating the harassment here are obviously immature and either haven fully developed their prefrontal cortexes or have that portion of their brain atrophied due to a genetic predisposition for being a dick.

I too hope a lawsuit is initiated. It would be easy to prove to a judge that the harassment permitted by this website is affecting his income and livelihood.

Multiple reported cases of angle shooting and multiple reported cases of "don't you know who I am" douchebaggery. Even when he gives interviews about this stuff, he doesn't actually refute any of it, just saying "I'm not an angle shooter" (and in at least one case actually confirming his douchebaggery).

Maybe I and others are jealous of his results? Perhaps, but hopefully even if I won a televised donkament, I wouldn't be going around telling people I've been on TV.
