I was at a table with him a few days ago - 2/5 NL and he buys in for $200 in $20 bills, looking dejected as if it was the last 200 he pulled out of the ATM....

He plays his first hand raises to $30 by verbally announcing the raise and gets 2 callers. He ends up folding on a ace hi flop and another player gets pushed the pot.

Oh, here comes his chips, $200...
He plays the next hand now and gets involved allbeit his stack should really be $30 lighter, he wins the pot..

Now he gets called out for owing the $30 and Doug says "too late" really??
Took about 30 seconds then the previous pots winner says wheres my $30
The d-bag finally paid.

He ran his stack up pretty nice for a $200 buyin to about $900... He left with maybe $400 like a little girl running when he paid off a $300 bet on the river with his over pair vs a rivered two pair.

I'm sure it's been said before but this guy is a horrid cash game player and yes, a toolbox.

From what i saw playing with him hes a terrible mtt player too, 6x pre with 40 bbs, but what can you expect from a TOOLBOX

i hate to say this but... pescotori is by far the biggest toolbox in this clip!

his KK55 preflop fold and then his A8K3 fold vs a single bet on A87s board. holy ****ing nit toolbox!

This is definite proof that he makes no mistakes. Similarly, Doug Lee has a ring and is also perfect.

Either you did not watch the clip or you have zero omaha knowledge.
Pescatori also displayed a bit or flawed thinking when commentating for partypoker league or whatever it is called.

I know it is hard to understand that Doug is not always #1 toolbox but come on...

i've probably played at least 12-15 times w/ him in the past year and he's never ever once open raised to 6x. he's not nearly as bad as everyone makes him out to be at MTTs. he's probably terrible at cash but that's because he's just spewy with deep stacks.

now, that being said, he still does a lot of douchey things and constantly tries to find a new angle.

No, and I'm not saying he's perfect. But making a mistake or two is not enough to call him a toolbox imo.
U and me surely make a lot of mistakes playing, as do every poker player, ours are just not on youtube.

Never mind, don't wont to derail this thread.

Surely we all make mistakes but those two I pointed out aren't mistakes someone would make for any other reason than being either scared money, terrible or both.

Now let's get back to Doug as you said!

You may be right about people making him out to be worse than he is , Ive only played with him once in a $300 live mtt but the 6xin pre 100% happened.

Had the honor of playing with Mr.Lee in yesterday's deepstack at the rio. I was short stacked and pushed 10 bb's over his open with QQ. He asks for a count and eventually calls. Waits for me to table my hand before flipping over AA.
Spoiler:
I get there

Did the whole table begin cheering when you got there? Huge toolbox move asking for a count with Aces lol
05-29-2012 , 04:32 PM
imagine the effort it must take to maintain that level of tool box ness
05-29-2012 , 04:38 PM
I was at the table next to his in the deepstacks yesterday and in the first level I hear the floor called over because the woman didnt know the previous hand was supposed to be a chop and then the floor explains the hand is over nothing he can do etc....then I notice the other person in the pot...Doug Lee...

that woman was so pissed kept staring him down lol she had no clue who he was!!!!
