yes there is great anticipation and concern w/ this interview. agree conz, that if doug lee tries to accept thread w/ humility and such, the thread may suffer. however he can pretend to do so, and if he stays true to his nature, this thread will grow more epic.

So the people who act like they don't recognize him he knows that they recognize him?

Dude was on a basic cable broadcast for one hour in 2005 (in an event they no longer bother to televise because of low ratings) and he thinks he is god. I love me some Doug Lee.

This thread has made him far, far more famous than his quick stint on TV.

The interview is a little dry to start, but the toolbaggery does come out quite nicely. He is, after all, talking about his favorite subject...Doug Lee. Look forward to part 2.

When doug is describing how he was sitting with Hellmuth on his left in some tournament and QJ asks 'so you can learn from them, can't you?' I lost it.
