Ben Franklin said "The only two things that are certain in life are death and taxes."

Were he alive today, that quote would read "The only three things that are certain in life are death, taxes, and the Doug Lee toolbox thread."

lol just reading DLP on Twitter this is too funny:

With his win last night, @PhilIvey has just moved into a tie with his ex-wife with 4 bracelets a piece.

& this:

Ivey's deep game vs. Bill Chen's tearing up the sides. Who will win? Only @joykendra knows

The great man just performed an epic spew at Venetian DS event. 100 BB stack off with AQ.

I must apologize that he was seated next to me and I did not get a pic of the ring.

He must have had a feeling.

Or, was he just in complete shock that someone could have AQ beat?

Latter-Couldn't believe AQ wasn't good in a 3 bet pot so he stuffed 100+BB

Sorry, poker edge.

You simply have to read the whole thing. It is a rite of passage.

It will probably change your life.

Cliffs for this thread is considered blasphemous!

This thread, like a hot chick that's a perfect 10, should best be viewed from top to bottom to fully enjoy.

There is a guy who plays poker and is pretty much a tool. 100 or so stories of him being himself. Likes taking pictures with pictures. One Ring to rule them all.

Cliffs really do it no justice. If you don't take the time to read each and every page, it is your loss, not Doug's.

i actually took the time to read this entire thread, it definitely lived up to the hype

Read it. It's worth it. Takes maybe 3 or 4 hours to read but you can die happy knowing you've read this epicness.

See ya on the felt!
