Or better still, get him to sign a plain t-shirt, and have a tool box put on it after, then sell it for charity.

See you on the felt!
Doug Lee ToolBox
Getting him to sign an actual toolbox would be the muhfuh holy grail. That would actually make a great charity auction item.

The tool is always trying too hard to fit in, and because of this, never will. However, the tool is useful because you can use them for things

what if someone found out where he lives... would be hilarious if he kept getting toolboxes as gifts through the mail like everyday for a year

If Doug Lee had a lick of sense he'd just roll with this, call himself 'The Toolbox', wear toolbox shirts, use a crescent wrench for a card protector, and get a Home Depot/Rigid/Husky Tools sponsorship.
Come up with some sayings, "Cause I always have the right tools!" as he shows pocket Aces.

But then if he had a lick of sense he wouldn't be the biggest toolbox.

I laughed out loud picturing him saying and doing this with that corny smile.

We all know how this ends. The 'box gets it AI with Harmon with T9 vs her QQ on a KT2 flop and spikes a ten on the river.

Holy Carp...at the end he flashes his now infamous one ring but TWO at the very end. I never noticed that before. It's Gold, Jerry! Gold!

So I was at a home game with a friend, didn't know anyone there. TV is on, and some gum commercial comes on where the father tries to pay the babysitter with gum. She accepts, and camera pans around to different people taking about how great the gum is or some *****, then at the end it zooms out from the living room to this telco worker who looks all crestfallen and says, "No one ever pays me with gum!".

And he looks like Doug Lee! I kinda chuckle, and just kinda say to myself, "that guy looks like Doug Lee."

Another guy at the table starts to crack up and says "Yeah, that dude was Doug Lee!" We had a laugh, then tried with no luck to explain The Doug Lee to the rest of the table.

See for yourself: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxmCdRkCEU0

Full commercials are in the sidebar.

Saw Doug Lee today at the Venetian Deepstack (4/15). Did someone here bust him?

Brag: just called the floor on him and got him a penalty.

He's such a angleshooting douche. In a sat to the 25k he was facing a turn shove and proceeded to tank forever line up all his chips and move them dangerously close to the betting line and back and forth then he exposed a card whil tanking (this is when I called the floor) and trying to get a read...

"So Doug and two other guys get in a big pot where Doug bets the turn on a Q74T two diamond board, gets raised and the preflop reraiser coldcalls. Doug calls and river is the jack of diamonds. Doug bets out like 1/3 pot and the raiser from the last street now shoves. Doug has like 20% of the pot left behind in his stack and tanks for 3 minutes or so. Someone calls the clock on him and he sits there. Floor comes over, starts to count down.

When they get to 5-10 seconds left, Doug puts his big chips on top of his stack of chips and pushes it forward (in a dramatic way) just before the line. The line at bellagio for tournaments is binding, but anything that doesn't go over the line doesn't count. So he holds this for 3 seconds looking for a response and the whole table is looking at him saying "WHAT THE ****." The floor is standing RIGHT THERE and says 'hand is dead.' The floor looks at him and says "I have seen that before, you do that again and you get a penalty."

Doug stumbles over his words a bit and claims that he was not trying to angleshoot at all."

Dear Gobbo,

Please stake Doug Lee in the 25k, and have him partner with Men to make sure he makes the Final table. A mere $25k is a worthwhile gamble for even a chance of televised super-douchebagery.

If that is too much to ask, at least consider lending him $25 so he can complete his website.

Humbly yours,
Fish

A+++++ thread for whatever reason I never really looked into this thread but man am I glad I did. Here is another Doug Lee gem:

Playing 30/60 limit in calgary a few years ago. Doug is in the game acting kind of cocky but nothing super out of line at the time. Until this. New guy sits down in the game and you can tell by the way he handles his chips and cards he isnt that experienced.

Doug:"new blood in the game, yum yum"
New Guy:"hey you look familiar, where do I know you from?"

Doug proceeds to go to find a poker magazine that has some kind of article about him. and brings it to show the new guy.

Doug:"Yeah I'm pretty well know, I've been on tv on ESPN."
New Guy:"Oh yeah thats where its from, you were a dealer in the World Series of Poker right?"

Doug goes silent.

True Story, cant even make this stuff up.
