way back years ago i went on a 2+2 vegas trip and played 30-60 at bellagio. i was sitting in the 1 seat and doug lee sat down on the 7 seat. immediately he was really talkative. i recognized him from somewhere but couldn't place it, i knew he had been on tv. he posted and raised blind. button 3 bets and i fold 52o or some crap. next hand i'm looking at his giant ring and notice he doesn't even look at his cards and raises. i 3-bet blind in the sb but don't announce it.

he starts: "what do you have? AA? wow i ran into a monster so early! ok i 4bet."

i 5-bet cuz it's vegas and bet blind.

flop is A J 5

he starts again "wow you must really have something...you scared of the Ace?" Finally he looks at his cards, no doubt has nothing, but still pretends to be thinking. "alright i'll give you respect" and mucks.

trying to look cool, i show my hand thinking i'll have 92 or something. I have JJ.

this thread is amazing, maybe the best one on the site. i believe about 80% of these stories are true. Taking advantage of amateurs like that is the worst. If i ever see this guy in a casino i'm gonna shout "DOUG LEE!!!! BIGGEST TOOLBOX EVER!!! WHATS UP BRO!"
