A better strategy would be to designate a day where everyone does not play. Designate the 5th of every month as Amaya day. And on Amaya day you don't play. Pass the word. Make a catchy Meme and marketing type flyer that goes viral.
Then as the movement grows, you increase the days, designate the 5th, 15th, and 25th as Amaya days.
The real test will be when an Amaya day falls on a Sunday. If you can significantly affect Sunday then you have some ammo for negotiation.
Lastly, the meme/marketing needs to list reasonable terms.
Near as I can figure, the terms and stuff Amaya is doing isn't all that unreasonable and most fish aren't gonna really care.
In any event, that's my two cents to help your cause...

As long as regs keep playing on every non-Amaya day, paying the increased rake, this won't even be noticed. A week long boycott will barely be noticed, and will be explained as something else (unusually warm temperatures caused people to play less poker indoors or something ridiculous). You would need to boycott for at least a month for them to take notice of this, which most regs couldn't afford to do.
