The more side action WCG gets on donger, the more likely donger is to win since WCG will be motivated to help him (which is what TC wanted to avoid by playing lower).

This is all very ****ed up in reality. wcg cannot take action imo for the sake of game integrity. Wcg should have as little to do with this as possible. Not h8in jus s8in

Can anyone give some cliff notes so far of what is happening? -

The concern has never been that WCG will cheat and ghost/help in real time, as kaby said if any of the players were concerned about that there would be no challenge/bet.

TC's concern is that WCG might help in the analysis/give some advice to his friend between sessions. This is not cheating, we all ask our friends for help, and if I had the best in the world at my disposal I'd do it more :P. This is not unkosher or unethical at all, don't get me wrong. But the more financial stake WCG and maybe his friends have in this, the more motivated he will be to give good advice to Donger. That's why TC wanted this to be lower, I'm just sayin if WCG and co get tons of side action on this it will negate the low stakes.

None of this is a criticism of WCG or saying that there is any cheating going on, I would just rather bet on TC the less skin WCG has in this on the other side. Ofc nothing stops WCG from helping Donger even with no skin in the game, it just seems more likely that WCG will help more and better the more action he has on this.

On the other hand, WCG might get more action on the side if he posts ITT saying he won't help Donger during the challenge
