not to jump on flushie, but i will also do that if you're still up for it after kaby/doug. fwiw flushie i think you're a good bit higher now (since playing recently) than where i had you on that last list i sent joey. also, that last list of mine was quickly jotted down and one i didnt realize was going to be public--misunderstood joey and thought he wanted like a guideline rankings for his show so he knew about who was where. just sayin

So looks like we have:

Flushie VS WCG

Flushie VS Kabyz

Flushie VS TC

But still no response from big dick Dong Kim to TC's counteroffer? Might have to rename the thread Flushie vs the world hu challenge.

I think i have said this before but i dont understand why donger would challenge someone to 20k HU if he isnt taking 100% of his action and when TC is unlikely to take 100% of his own action. Why not just play a stake that you can take 100% of youself and not just play artificially higher for no reason.

how would you expect wcg to make money out of it on 25.50?

This is what makes poker fun to follow! It would be awesome if there could be made a rough schedule of when the sessions in the challenges would be played (once everybody agree to play).

Yes

If some of these challenges go down I will have to lift my NL ban and stream some of the action. If TC vs BDDK happens I will support my country and bet on TC getting 1.1-1. If WCG vs anyone goes down I will support my country and bet on WCG at 1.1-1

wcg wants to have financial interest in his friend, which in turn motivates him even more other than just being a friend to rail and participate in the aftersessiontalk. Quite a good corner to have in dongers shoes. And not so awesome for TC imo, rather just play a 100% game and hope he doesn´t have to play donger with a WCG-hud for the whole duration of 10k hands.

While Im not insinuating anything unethical would happen, I believe Doug has a large financial interest in the challenge as stated and Im not comfortable with that right now. Donger, I apologize if I'm way off on this, but when Doug brought this up a few weeks ago he indicated at a 20k bi you would only be playing a small % of yourself.

So while this isn't nearly as juicy at the one proposed I would be up for a challenge, where both players have a large majority of themselves, say 25/50 (I have 100% of this), 10k hands, 30k sidebet.

With this being said I might be up for doing an even larger challenge (than the one in the OP) in a few months (obviously both parties are going to be selling large pieces) where I'm not concerned about who has what financial interest in the challenge.
Hey Nick,

I believe I know where the assumption that I have a smaller piece is coming from a few weeks ago

I can assure you that I will have a large % of myself at 100-200 as it will be playing the biggest I've ever played online.

How about 15k hands of 50-100 with a 30k sidebet? Im not too big on the side bet fwiw. With these stakes, eveything will stay very mannered and friendly

I'm really bad at twitter and figuring out who thinks their the best most recently, but I'll play people in 10k hand hu challenges if I get a significant spot in bb/100. I haven't played much hu nlhe in a long time so I'm surprised I'm on anyone's list, so thanks. I believe last time I played serious hu nlhe I lost like 700k to #1 himself, ha!

Well if you just want to play to prove your point that you need to be higher on "the list", then stakes wont matter, so you may as well play 5/10 with a sidebet

playing 5-10 with a super large side bet will only create a bubble towards the end. Its sortve like playing a tournament, its just no fun at the bubble.

also, I am not playing Nick to prove anything, It is simply just a way to get some action at higher stakes/fun thing for people to watch.

I'm kinda surprised that no one replied at all to the suggestion of streaming twitch on a big delay... just b/c it would be interesting to see whether any custom software was in use during play

anyone have any comment? wcg? jungle? is this just a 'no comment' kinda thing?

joey what's your take on it? I don't see you being afraid to speak your mind

Why would you want to give a ton of information to your competitors for free? A 10k hand sample of someone in the top5 hu with all hole cards is probably worth >1$/hand to say the #7.

Hole cards can be blanked... surely that's obvious?

Hands that do not go to SD and are mucked are private from the public world. It would be very unfair to the players involved. + it would tilt me if I got bluffed in a big pot

I don't think there's any need to show the hole cards.... they can be blanked...

the more interesting thing is what software people are using

Just go on the honor system.
No party in the bet should use a software that is not available to the other player.
Agreed ?

Then there is no ****ing point in streaming it since one could just rail it off of pokerstars instead. lol.

<Not sure if leveling.gif>

Obv the point of my posts was that it would be great to watch the *players* play... and verify what software they were/weren't using...
