Competition raises the game, creates better products, and makes those involved put more effort. Having said that, it isn't really the gentleman move to openly bash the competition.

Would be a really nice act of solidarity.

Just to be sure I understood - your app notes the time that a player checked a certain flop, and poker sites can cross reference that with the time a hand was played and investigate the line that was taken? Very interesting idea if I’m reading it correctly.
That is correct. Actually this discussion has given us an idea to take it one step further - we will let the community investigate freely as well. Deepsolver will be offering a tool for everyone to check whether a specific board was solved recently using our app in a given time window (you match the time you know that board was played on a poker table). In case of several matches related to a single person we'll provide a reference identificator that should be reported to a poker site - when they get in touch with us, we are going to provide more information. Depending on interest, we can also offer streaming access for poker sites (instant notification about all calculations and their input parameters).

I'd be very upset if the product I used added a 30s delay. There's no way you could get the whole market to agree to a consumer unfriendly practice like that just to curb cheating, when most users aren't cheaters and will be annoyed at having their time wasted.

i assume a lot of ppl interested in training material would be ok with it if it meant the underlying they're training for would be better off.

the only people upset over 30s delay are the ones with malicious intent

Not really, 30s would be annoying. Maybe still in everyone's best interests but still annoying.

If you're only going to run one hand it's not that bad. If you're running several it would be annoying as ****.

It's not acceptable. There are better ways to combat cheating than treating every customer like a potential cheater.

It won't work anyway. It takes one app to refuse to do it to force every other one to stop also. If every app on the market introduces a delay someone will make one that doesn't.

Keep in mind a pio database itself takes like 5 seconds to load , not even

Think it ends up mainly being poker sites security teams to make sure we are playing safe games in the end besides due diligence of avoiding sketchy players (Their security team should know what the latest tools people are using is and detect them being open with client to stop it; if they don't already I suspect they should use timebank patterns / mouse movement patterns when in XYZ spots etc)

From what i've seen if any loser was trying to cheat with the 'new' sites like odin/gto wiz etc popping up they would prob have to one table and timebank every decision anyway because of the few second delay for each action to load etc - GTO wiz itself also locks you out of checking any sims if you check too many manually in a day, think around 50ish hands in a day? Which I think can be improved upon since they have the uploaded analysis feature anyway for reviewing; depends how much the average drooler is actually cheating when trying to use these tools (every hand or only when they get in a tough spot)
