of course, bill's an excellent player. he could have an amazing or terrible year in 2008, as could just about anybody on the professional circuit.
more importantly, he's a good guy to have drinks with. yeah he's the witty, charming, life-of-the-party type guy of course, but even better he will absolutely insist on paying
definite class act. as another kind of random note, after the wsop main event last year, i found myself rewatching two bust-out interviews, of course scotty's 11th place, but just as often bill's 23rd. while of course i feel sick to my stomach watching, i find the genuine pain of a champion suffering defeat inspiring, if that makes any sense. also, both manage to make me smile at points (mostly as a result of speaking of life outside of poker), which is kind of inspiring in another way.
