I have a feeling tom's already been in contact with the DOJ. Sounds like he had no knowlege of the fraud until after black friday, and im almost 100% sure that the doj has talked to many of the big name ftp pros, including tom. Still it's a good post with good advice if he hasn't in fact talked with them yet.

haven't talked to them... thought about it many many times- then recently learned they already knew everything i did, which made me disgusted that they hadn't acted. that combined with the fed nonstop devaluing the use made me really not trust the government. today's action made me really happy- now if the fed can keep it in their pants for once and not announce qe3 today/tmrw i'll start having some faith in the gov't again.

Hes a young guy like me, its hard to do everything right. He should never had said the million dollar thing, but he was just trying to believe the sky wasnt falling, you know? It was wrong to encourage people to keep playing with that comment but I dont think he said it knowing it was untrue.

That said it means a lot to see him still posting ITT and explaining himself. Its the least he can do but its still a big step that most arent taking.

I don't see how you can bet against him returning funds he made from FTP, how could he not, IMO you're an idiot if you think he won't

If I found an old lady's purse with 5k cash in it, you'd have to be an idiot to bet on whether or not I would return it

He came out with truth and his reasons behind doing so. Maybe he's not so clean but he is not at the same level as other Pros. He atleast spoke what's true at last.

I had money locked up on FTP (not much) and I expect to never get it back. I'd rather see $1mm given to charity (not a stripper named charity) than get $2.
