Aged domains are stronger than new domains for SEO. There is value in its backlink profile as well, though I can't estimate what that would be.

I think the value of DC depends heavily on the purchaser.

I'd imagine there is a base value of five figures for most interested buyers though.

I think more than anything this shows you how much the value of videos is tied into creators. Remove (but not replace) the top five content producers of most video subscription sites, and how much would you then pay for the business?

Without monetizing the poker software market as it boomed over the last four years, or getting affiliate revenue (the owners are an affiliate so I'd imagine they've taken that avenue for themselves and aren't selling it in this price) the price seems on point as an opening offer.

Update: Deuces was sold again to a guy named Christian from Europe. He has promised for the past five months or so that a site redesign and relaunch is coming, new coaches, exciting stuff. Except that he has missed about 20 straight deadlines and is many months behind what he promised, has never shown any screenshots or real news about the relaunch, and is barely in communication with the few remaining interested coaches. Wondering if he just bought the site for a rock-bottom price and is bleeding out the idle subscribers and rakeback generators.

How do you know this, are you 1 of the coaches?

Reason I ask: I'm a former subscriber who goes back to DC from time to time to see if any content released. Still looks the same, no new material.

At this point, I can't see how it could get any traction. It's been too long since any1 decent made vids there. The current noobs learning poker may never have even heard of DC as solid as a community it was back in the day.

I was one of the coaches and can confirm that everything he said is accurate. It's been about 6 months the site was supposed to be relaunched. Every time the deadline is missed it turns into "next month".

So it was bought by BTS? Why would the coaches wait around vs applying to make vids for RIO or something?

I signed up for a trial of the training videos in April and then decided to cancel since I found it lacking. I saw no way to cancel on the site. I sent an email to a support address asking to cancel. No response. I have now been charged $29.99 every month since April.

I reached out to FourCubed, whom I now see appears to be a previous owner. Does anyone have any other contact info I can use to resolve this issue?

Well you should definitely contact your card provider/bank and put a stop to it

Yep, that part is being done. I still need my money back, though.

You can issue a chargeback. I always try to consider that a last resort. But if they have no cancellation option and are unresponsive, that is borderline fraudulent. You're 100% in the right.

I mean, the site isn't even up now, so I'd say it's certainly fraud to keep charging me for a service I couldn't use even if I wanted to. Hopefully, this ends sooner than later.

I've contacted Paypal over a week ago and am waiting on them to get in touch with the owner. I'd like to get the BBB involved, too, though I have no business address info.

Sorry to hear about that CipherKid. I was an ex-coach. If I knew how to contact the owner Christian Grimsberg who ran it into the ground, I would give that to you. All I have is a Skype contact and he would probably just ignore me at this point. Seems like the guy bought it for pennies on the dollar, kept a ruse of relaunching the site up for 1-2 years so he could continue to bleed dry old subs and people like yourself. He even kept advertising that there would be freerolls, giveaways, etc and kept touting that certain coaches were aboard longggg after they were gone.

I couldn't login, and tried to contact them, but they didn't respond. I wanted to watch some old TD and other limit games videos. I filed a dispute of the Paypal charge from FourCubed. I got my money back after their period to respond expired.

Does Fourcubed still exist? Its corporate website is deleted. It owned pas.net. That hasn't been updated in two years. Raketracker.com is all sorts of broken, assuming it's still part of that group.

I hope I'm wrong. Maybe they moved onto other niches when online poker did not play out well in US.

Edit: Your Poker Cash.com site was part of Fourcubed. It is updated and I recognize some names on that list. Maybe going to the contact page there could get players a resolution.

It won't get anyone a resolution to contact Fourcubed. They sold the business to Christian who seemed like he was the sole owner after that.

Actually, it was worse than what I described. I tried to send email to support@deucescracked.com and it was returned as the email address no longer exists. However, they are still billing, but didn't respond when I disputed the billing.

Okay. I was going by the disputed Paypal being from Fourcubed but that doesn't mean they are related.
