i don't claim that they play abc tag all the time. i haven't played on stars nor rail any of their games in years. but from what i saw, the majority of the regs were hoping to trap isi and thus reduced to playing tag plo. im sure they're looser normally, but against isi they were undoubtably playing very tight

This must be the sickest PLO session online ever right? I mean Hastings session was #only" 30+ BI´s and this was more and ring game on top of that! Inhuman

who else was winning? in response to isi's aggression, they all tightened up and were reduced to playing a abc tag style of poker. i'm sure they're more creative normally, but they weren't in that session

why do the games form around a 6 tabling guy who minus one huge cheating session is up overall, and stinger is the biggest cheat in the world, isildur read this, stinger is brian hastings just so you know
12-09-2010 , 07:50 AM
you are correct in saying they were playing tight, most of those guys are solid anyway, but it is tough to play that solid at a deep table u have to open up your game a little, i forget the guy who i thought was playing like a nit, min raised him on a J44 board when isil 3 or 4 bet preflop, he calls, turn is a 3 gets checked river is a 5 he shoves, isi snaps him off with AAxx, i thought this guy woulda had quads or jacks full with the way he had been playing but he shows like 6653, i was like wtf...

PS stinger plays PLO so awful f-me, callin isi down with one pair like middle pair and gutter, lol or cold callin a flop c/r with the nut flush draw...lol just move in on the flop u idoit, it cost u the hand vs yuanyuan and that other guy, yuanyuan would never just call a flop shove with a str draw...

stinger calls isil down since he has cheated before and knows inside secrets

plus, a lot of the regs were overplaying their big pp's preflop. i saw countless times where they committed their stacks w/ qq or kk just to be flipping at best.

im 100% sure i could crush these games given a proper br.
bro don't! if you start crushing those PLO5K ABC TAG's and then decide to move up and crush PLO40K ABC TAG's, i'm afraid there wouldn't be left any games to rail.

BH & Brain townsend is from that school of thought as well, raise every hand, never fold anything, value bet 5th pair, etc....townsend is prolly broke or close to it, and hastings would be as well, another break even to losing player, of course without a cheating scandal to bump him up...

it was AAxx vs 6633

pot was 8k preflop,

Flop J44
isi bets 2.8k on the flop and gets minraised. isi just calls. they have like 8k left each

turn 8
check, check

river 5
isi check calls all-in.

Link to memo ? Sounds weird that they'd something like that.

As genius as the PokerStars marketing team seems to be, wouldn't be surprised if he has hourly wage which increases expotentially the longer he plays.

eg. $100*(hours played in one session)^2

Spoiler:
I'm not 100% serious but would be a sick idea, no?

I realize some "responsible gaming" nits would go crazy if something like that became public :d

all i know for sure is that pokerstars has hit a grandslam thus far... the signing , the hu challenge promotion, plus they are bloggin his results... FTP should be ashamed they missed out on this
12-09-2010 , 09:22 AM
Agreed. PS are on to a massive winner here.

I just followed the session in this thread as I missed it. Absolutely unbelievable results. That is one of the sickest heaters I have ever seen. But he also played very very well against the stars regs. Looks like they may need to hit the old drawing board...

Also, I don't understand the people slagging off Gordo in this thread? He is always happy to talk to the 2+2 rail and offers some excellent advice. Some posters need to get a f**king life.

pokerstars is pretty good at advertising. and the biggest winner by far here. I always thought that ftp would pick isildur1 up but they have been stubborn idiots in the past and probably will be

Does isil do research on who he plays? Or does he look at them as just foes, did he ever mention using a hud?...is he completely oblivious?...it seems like he does zero avoidance
