I haven't seen much coverage of mizzi, didn't even know he was still in until checking the updates on pokernews this morning.

Wouldn't have expected much love for him here, but where are the haters?

And gl Rupert, sick run lately.

Anyone playing the pokernews tourney tonight? Might have to get some beers in and join in the drinking game, prob +ev compared to 1 tabling, getting bored and donking off my chips.

Here is the link for the replays.

http://espn.go.com/espn3/index

then hit "replay" for past episodes

in "upcoming" it like it starts up @ 3 pm, and @ 7 pm but not on ESPN2?

I see part 2 it is on at 1 AM (well 10 pm PST anyway)

Hey FELLAS,

Sorry for my ignorance, but is Day 6 Part 1 going to be televised at all? I am only seeing Day 6 Part 2 on ESPN2 at 12am tonight..

Anyone know if Day 6 Part 1 is live now on TV?

Imo notables left by stack

3 mill+

David Bach 4,706,000 (2009 50k HORSE bracelet winner)
Phil Collins 4,109,000 (USCPhildo)
Ben Lamb 4,032,000 (Bracelet winner, Baller, will be WSOP POY leader if he finishes 145th or better)
Sebastian Ruthenberg 3,354,000 (Bracelet winner, Team PS Germany pro)
Bryan Devonshire 3,292,000 (MaverickUSC on 2p2, Devo, ex-UB pro)
Sam Barnhart 3,065,000 (WSOP Circuit Champion bracelet winner)
I think Kyle Johnson 4,654,000 should be on this list. Maybe not famous (yet) but only $52,000 behind David.

Go Kyle! And Tri and Tyler and all the other Canadians still in the running!!!

Im partaking in the drinking game festivities tonight, I feel this is gonna be the best day for moving chips and will get a defined understanding of what this years November 9 might be (they play to 27 today, right?).

Cunningham has always been one of my favorite players and I have been following him for years; I have noticed that at times he seemingly plays poorly in crucial situations.

I think it may be a a mix of a skewed perception thing - skewed by both editing and also the fact that a good portion of his televised time is during final tables, etc., making his every move that much more critically perceived.

I also think he can be compared to Hellmuth in that although his style of tourney play may not be "correct" compared to the present standard, he will stick to it loyally and consistently and therfore may come off as playing poorly.

Interestingly enough, 7 or 8 years ago his play seemed strange because he was ahead of his time and playing at a much higher level than most of his opponents.

Anyway, regardless of the analysis, there is no doubt that he is one of only a relative few "old-timers" who have bridged the poker transition gap and remains successful and is always a threat at any tourny.

GL Cunningham.

GL Eli - imo an underrated, under respected player. He is in very tough shape with his style and stack vs the players left in the hunt, but hey, it's poker.....

No, he busted before the dinner break yesterday, and admitted in his post interview that he played badly and that being on TV and the pressure got to him. Came off really well, TBH.
