LOL, even if this was true I've played with AlexKP he gets it in absolutely awfully. Such a *luckbox too. Always getting it in pre absolutely awful. Just such a luckbox fish.

There are other threads and places on the internet where suspect was named, although it is illegal to do so from Denmark. This thread was created so that it is possible for people on the ground in Denmark to provide information about what is going on.

HEM works by reading the PS hand histories, which are not written until after the hand is over (the reason being to force bot makers to interpret the screen rather than just read the files) so skills which a programmer had acquired working for HEM would not be directly transferable to reading hands as played - also it doesn't need to be a poker-specific trojan, as long as it sends regular screenshots of the other guy's screen then it is enough.

It amazes me that some high stakes players don't think to properly secure their computers. I feel for them hugely, but get your security together. After all, it's your livelihood.

As for the 'prime suspect', is there anyway he can be confirmed as the person who infiltrated laptops at live stops? Would the virus/trojan/RAT used be traceable to him? i.e. match the ones on the Danish HS computers?

Have you ever left your computer unattended for 60 seconds? Thats roughly how long it is reported it will take to install a program right from the USB, without touching anything else. Thats including the computer being locked with the standard windows password.

No standard antivirus programs etc will ever detect it.
