I didnt care about Daniel, or what the hell hes up to. But the way he talked to Mason, calling him things ect ect, how can a multi millionarie act like that, he has it all in this world, and yet acting like a 16years old kid in puberty, "ow what are you gonna do about it" no self-knowledge at all.. So ye, absolutely he deserve 100% and maby more what he gets in here..

It isn't surprising.

Daniel is someone who has probably never had a real job before and has been a millionaire for 20 years now so he has never really had to grow up.

Most of these guys have a very high view of themselves I remember one twitter thread Daniel himself said as he was playing a final table with some other hugh rollers how they were going to change the world...no clue

What does having a job have to do with growing up?

Daniel is the least authentic person in poker. Everything he does is contrived, especially his politically correct "anti pc" pose.

Dnegs giving cheeno love for shipping the pca main on twitter. Has to be trolling defending cheeno's reputation as a result of 'past discretions'.

Used to love DN when I first got into poker. Now I can't stand him.

What if he’s paid back everyone he’s borrowed money from ?

Most ppl who lent him money knew he was an addict, so they were sort of enabling him too.

It seems he still has friends and ppl don’t seem to hate him so I’m guessig he’s trying to become a better person ?

Actually Daniel made sub sandwiches in Canada . Now he has a net worth of 50 million . From what I know of him which comes directly from a friend who grew up with him and still has some contact with the inner circle . He is a scumbag IRL like most around here .

Is dnegs still justifying why he felt the need to point out that when people get stiffed after loaning money it's the loaner's responsibility? lol.

I believe he was referring to the Eli story and that Eli has owed him for years.

Don't forget that he defended Lindgrens gambling debts (and refusal to pay them) by calling it a new school (pays their debts) vs. old school (apparently thieves) gambling culture.

Ooooffftt Dara O’Kearney absolutely nails Negreanu in this blog.....great read!! It’s so spot on. Someone who was the face of poker and appeared an poker icon to so many recreational players has turned into a complete tool on every level.

its been a rough week for renegs on twitter. he had another post essentially victim blaming people for getting scammed, saying that its your own fault and you are responsible for your actions.

funny thing is that i definitely remember negreanu saying in a blog or 2p2 post or interview that poker players are more honorable than businessmen because your reputation is everything in poker and nobody would risk ruining it.

tried really hard to find the link, but couldnt get my hands on it.

if true, just another example of negreanu violently careening all over the place with opinions, that are essentially all based on his narrow view point of the world.

hes not the ambassador poker players need, but he's definitely the one we deserve...

As far as I can tell the old school poker players don't like to out scammers because nearly all of them are scammers. They victim blame instead.

Certainly true, but I'm more of a blame both of them, you're stupid for loaning money and wanting it back (I did it once to someone who was a long time good friend of mine--boy was I a sucker that day, what the hell was I thinking) and I think all scammers should be outed, tarred, feathered, etc.

I suppose some don't out of embarrassment, or makes the game look bad, or whatever.

I'd be surprised if any of the old school didn't shaft at least someone. A huge cast of definitely not good people presented otherwise on TV.

It's satisfying to see the poker world is finally catching on to the kind of person Negreanu really is. These two pieces sum up my own thoughts, only more eloquently and politely.
