If any of you understand what this reference is and have been plagued by this YouTube advertisement that won't stop playing. I know your pain. Just know you are not alone. I have tried to not see this ad many times, but it plays because Google knows I play poker. Damn it. I have to wait 5ish seconds before I can click the "skip ad" button.

Some might not think this sort of thing belongs in NVG. However, it is my "view", that this ad should be erased from existence and I am "gossiping" about it. Therefore, my thread belongs in this part of the forum.

I don't think i saw this ad before, how irritating can it be? I get all sorts of other stuff though, my focus is always on the skip ad button, i got quite good at pressing it as sson as 3,2,1..., my main goal here is to make sure my brain doesn't receive any information about whatever product is being advertised, i had some good success at that recently.

My thoughts are that there already is a DN containment thread that states specifically that "All things Danny go here."

Now, I get this ad a lot.

I use Ghostery with Firefox. It is an optional add-on there. I do my browsing with Duckduckgo, as it doesn't apparently track me. You can empty your Google histories, limit what they can collect and so on.

The smartphones might need some thinking also, as not only they have Google stuff in them, some (Chinese) might even have a hardware tracking piece. From this point Apple but it has Google stuffs also and one might need a Google account anyway and more software support. I use Nokia as it has a sort of clean Android (that's Google) and is up to 3x cheaper.

I soaked my Huawei smartphone in a bowl of bleach, it doesn't work anymore but I don't get those ads either. ..... I do get robocalls from Tai Lopez about bitcoin however.

This is really frightening because everything you don't do at the the poker table also says a lot about you! I've been called a tight player twice this weekend! Is it because I don't play enough hands?(true story)

But in all seriousness, avoid it as I try, I usually end up becoming chatty with my neighbors at the table, unless they're some douche of course.

Mercier 'warned' everyone pretty early after his star took off that he was on a '10 year' plan with poker and then he would reassess his life's situation. I think he pulled back in less than that.

Otherwise I consider what we are doing "entertainment" that is not that serious, so I couldn't give two ****s what your thoughts on people eating at the table are and will continue to do so at my leisure.
