Most likely another petty needle at Marissa, who wanted a kid and they compromised and got her two purse dogs. After she left he started making his vlogs mostly about him playing with the purse dogs (and look I even got your sister here taking care of them!), and now he's saying he wants a kid.

It's actually not. I suspect a personality trait that highly correlates to success in life is constantly pursuing new goals.

Nothing in any of his vlogs indicates he's not happy with his life. Just that he's always striving to improve it.

I guess he found himself a cheerleader.

Daniel understands that life is meaningless. He gives it his own meaning every few months by setting new goals. If he had a family like most men his age do, he would have a pre set goal to live for - take care of the family.

I find Daniel's vlogs fascinating. It describes the struggle in one man's search for meaning.

The difficulty for goal achievers is that eventually there are no more goals to achieve. Daniel has conquered poker and the high profile gambler life. I doubt any more bracelets or winning tournaments will make him the least bit satisfied.

My own critique of Daniel’s personality is that he is a doer and not content to just be.

A doer is pretty lonely when there is nothing left to do. A being is content to be, and only does that which is natural to that being.
