His rebuys?

Pretty sure that the large majority of players playing the events he does will be down significant 6 figure sums by now, that shouldn’t be a huge surprise. I wonder what percentage of all people playing a WSOP schedule of a comparable number of tournaments will be up money at the end, it can’t be that high

It's great to hear that you have declared yourself highly qualified.

BTW I see this book rated 2-3 stars on Amazon with basically unanimously negative reviews, so maybe this isn't the example to hold up of how he's wrong. Further, if you've titled it "Real Poker Psychology" and then written a statistically based book, you might want to reconsider whether you're the one who's engaging in kind of shady behavior - it's misleading and dishonest.

People leaving the WSOP up money after playing several (>5) events? Can't be higher than 10%. If you play several events, and don't final table an event, you're most likely leaving the WSOP down money.

I bet you'll learn a few things and see how mathematical modeling can work and what a powerful tool it is for analyzing stuff like poker psychology.

I think he played the 100k and shot two bullets in the 50k and whatever else. It is a tiny number of buyins he is down relative to the stakes he played at the start of this year's series. People ITT talking about how bloody it looks are either trolling or stupid as ****.

I think he shot 3 bullets in the $25k PLO that he is about to final table.

I've always liked the Maneskin version of the Frankie Valle and the Four Seasons song "Beggin". But I never bothered listening to Maneskin's other songs. That is until dNegs kept pushing it in at least two of his vlogs.

I'm not disappointed. Maneskin is indeed a great band and I thank Negreanu for always recommending them. The Italian songs are really really good.

I find Daniel to be pretty cringy, but when you compare him to guys like Schindler, Ali, etc. etc. etc. then I think the hate he receives is way disproportionate to what he deserves.

On the rare occasions I talk about poker with people who don’t play Daniel’s name almost always comes up in a positive way. He really is a great ambassador for the game and doesn’t have any real controversies attached to his name despite being in poker for 30+ years.

Been enjoying the vlogs again this year but it does come across that he does not care too much about the poker this year. Usually its so mad race to be POY but there has not even been a mention of that. Certainly not now anyway unless he goes on some kind of sun run but the only way I see out of this big hole is that he has a FT run in the ME as I saw he fired 3 bullets at the $50k PLO yesterday!

the red traffic light is really triggering his OCD. pretty funny to see him get tilted by it every day while trying to pretend it doesn't bother him.

fwiw they were the musical guest for the 1/22/22 SNL.

Part of what is bizarre about this is if you watched last year's blog with any regularity it was very noticable how he almost NEVER hit that light. It was so normal that it became a standard practice on the blog to put something up on the billboard (like an add for GG) while he sat there for 10 seconds before the light changed. That he's just responding to it now is really weird

WSOP.com Updates says he fired 3 times at the 50K PLO .. I'm a wild PLO Player and some of the 'standard' isn't even standard to my play, but I'm not looking at position or stack sizes that closely either.

The red light is a function of some other traffic control device as well. Not sure what controls the exit to his neighborhood, but it very well could be just the cross traffic sets him up for a red light at this intersection almost every time. Believe me, I'm a guy who knows how many times the 'don't walk' sign flashes before a light turns yellow at some of my 'key' intersections .. drives my wife crazy and my kids thought I was a magician that the light would change when I snapped my fingers.

It will be interesting to see how things go from here with no major cashes .. especially if PHell cruises into a FT quickly. He almost has to rely on the PPP, 250K or ME to show a positive result now. He fully admits not having the patience to play in the large field events.

You also have the 'return' of Jason Mercier in the 50K PLO and if he runs deep I think it will add even more 'whatever' pressure since he hasn't been playing and can just step right back in and be successful. I see Ausmus also won another event, so he's gaining on the bracelet count as well. GL

I'm not a NL player but his NL game seems good to me. Good god his PLO analysis are painful to watch though. He knows his opponent is overly aggressively check raising rivers with blockers so his worried about value betting K high flush? With three of the said suit? That's like a dream spot to induce a bluff yet he is patting his own back after he saw that the guy did have the single A and would have check raised. Dude, you are allowed to call with second nuts, it's not a mandatory fold. This exactly same spot happened last year or previous, I was still shaking my head to that one and now this happens!

Haven’t the last couple WSOP’s been the same for DNegs, where he’s down pretty huge but then blinks a high cash of some high-roller right at the end to end up profitable? I’m sure that’s what’ll come to again, whether he blinks a high cash of a series ending high-roller.

Wait, where is the light? I just figured we're hearing about it because his route to the WSOP is different this year (on account of it all being at Bally's/Paris rather than Rio).
