Dnegs isn't wrong though, the way some bans are handed out create a lot of unnecessary contention. I understand the mods are just trying streamline and handle things efficiently but over the course of forum usage, there's going to be a lot of situations where people broke rules not knowing they were rules and/or with no malicious intent etc and then they get banned and it just feels messed up that some random person can treat a fellow adult like his own child

i think sometimes mods see so much of the bad that goes on here that they sometimes forget that those are outliers and we're mostly a community of peers

His point about 2p2 customer service was beyond beyond. He wanted NVG to be run like starbucks, in reality it's by the people he used to walk past in vegas casino bathrooms. Surely he couldn't muster a joke then, of course the humor of a 1-day ban is beyond him.

The handicapped spot was in the area of the Rio fenced-off for the guys with their trucks, right? So there was no way for any handicapped person to park there anyway, I think. And him parking there, as a result, didn't matter one bit. Just a footnote.

Agree 100%, there was some real talent there and some of those songs still hold up today. Although I suspect that Kurt Cobain wrote or help write many of those songs, which explains thy that band fell off so fast after his death.

Just for the record, there isn’t any evidence at all that Kurt had anything to do with the songwriting on that album. Also, there are other band members in Hole who participated in the song writing and they also deny that Kurt wrote any of it. Also, several of the songs, including Doll Parts, were written and played on tour before Courtney met Kurt.

I also wouldn’t say that Hole “fell off so fast” considering their next album was released 4 years later and received multiple Grammy nominations.

Finally, considering Courtney is a Golden Globe nominated actress and that she had touring and recording success before meeting Kurt, it is just super likely that she’s very talented. The notion that the wife of someone super talented can’t also be super talented is pretty old-fashioned... that’s all I’m saying.

That was a different chapter in the Danny/Mason feud. The charity was legit. The funds were stolen by one of Todd Witteles' ex-friends and organizer of the fund raising venture.

Danny took strong exception to 2p2 policy of not allowing any charity discussions on this site that Mason or his lawyers didn't fully vet. He went full rant on his form. This policy meant that virtually no charities get mentioned in NVG. Turned out the policy has strong solid reasoning.

Mason wrote a check to the charity to cover the stolen funds. Danny never recognized this or apologised for his rant.
