DN is also a really strong player. He is one of the few old school pros playing these super high rollers. Presumably he thinks he is +ROI in them, and he sold action at a big markup, so presumably others do too.

It isn't mathematically possible even with a small sample size for someone to be repeatedly taking high places in these high buyin tournaments with tough fields and be really bad in them. Oh, and that lucky fish turns out not to be some rich businessman, but a famous top pro with bracelets, WPT titles, experience in the Big Game in Bobby's Room etc.

Never mind the World Cup. That is why the German's lost WWI and WWII. For example, they had the most sophisticated complex coding machine and it never occurred to them that the British had broken the code.

I am now willing to bet money that next year DNegs will pay at least 30 people to wear "We love DNegs" shirts (or similar) and cheer at the rail for him.

If/when his money dries up, who will do all this for him so him and Amanda can do nothing all day. Her tasks for the day include getting a tan, getting her hair done, getting her nails done, sleeping, eating, lounging by the pool.

At the Rio convention center the WSOP poker tables have been replaced by 100+ pool tables for the pool national championships. It's like an alternate universe where all the guys obsessed with poker have been magically replaced with guys obsessed with pool.

Since Daniel used to be a pool hustler it would be cool if he went there and played some pool tournaments for old times' sake and vlogged it.

This year, Deeb has rooted for the eventual divorce (we know it's coming) and even proposed a marriage last longer bet. They also got into it about staking and markups. I'm sure it goes deeper than that, but I don't know the whole story. They're both polarizing people, I frankly don't like either's personality, and their personalities conflict hard.

Honestly she's not that hot and he's not that ugly. I see way more extreme matchups all the time, even when the guy has no money. Hell, I have no money and the age/looks gap between me and my wife is higher than DplusANegs.

The truth is, almost any guy no matter how ugly can get an incredibly beautiful woman as long as he has a tiny amount of charm, the confidence to actually try, and doesn't mind her being completely ****ing bat**** insane.

However, ANegs is not insane and DNegs is a concentrated mass of anti-charm. He got there because he's really good at a game ANegs likes and he's got very deep pockets. Of course she's going to take advantage of his good points. Good for her. Not like she married him for his elevating conversation or his sharp sense of humor.

Among the league of schlubby middle aged guys, though, DNegs definitely doesn't fall into the "ugly" bin by any means. He's average looking. For most women that's good enough as long as other important factors are in place.

This is all fake news except that some suckers were willing to buy his action at a markup. The sample size means nothing except that he might be better than the super whales that play this. I'd take nearly every other pro over him...

It time and time again intrigues me that NVG randoms can experience so much envy for a person to analyse it to creepy details and then confirm each other how bad this is going to end... why does this entertain me but also makes me sad at the same time?
