Watching the video he released a few minutes ago. I don't understand why payouts affected the play of the $600 he was in(8 hands played in 2 hours). Then why did he have to collect by waiting in a long line instead of collecting whenever he wanted later?

You can collect your tournament payout anytime you want during (perhaps even after) the WSOP. However, once eliminated from a tournament, you do have to stand in the line to register your finishing place and payout position. That is not the same as the payout line where you actually get your money, which is located in the cage room. The line Daniel was in was the line to register his payout position, or the place he finished.

He was given a small card that says something like "Place 562" of "X Tournament". The lady at the head of the lines takes the "Payout card" and his Players Card and inputs into the computer. One reason you can't leave the room with your Payout Card and must register your payout place right away is it would be too easy to hand the Payout Card to someone else outside the room, which might be done for a variety of reasons.

I don't know exactly what happened, but it's not uncommon in a large field tournament when you have like 50-100 people bust out in a single hand to take awhile to process them away from the tables, and then if you happen to make a money jump you have to determine who gets the money jump, etc. etc. Super large field tournaments are always a bit of a ****-show when first in the money. Its not unusual tbh.

I don't get the exagerrated hate towards Dnegs. Ofcourse critisisms are fine when they are due and his flows and some interesting choices like dick pick are a subject for discussion, but deep hate of him basically saying thaat he is a complete POS i don't get.
