(I've used some really nice RVs along the infield rail for NASCAR events, but that's more for the view from the roof and ready access to food and beverage service than an accommodation.)

He can be inside the RV in probably 5 or 6 minutes, Probably 10 plus minutes to get to the room, especially with people clogging up the elevators. Plus if going to a room, he would get mauled by people wanting pics, etc.

Personally I follow DNegs, at least during his WSOP vlogs, because he's entertaining. Doesn't mean he's not a cringey slimeball. He is. But then, he is a professional gambler. It's to be expected. His wormy little fake nice guy schtick is completely transparent (at least to me) and I wouldn't trust the guy to feed my goldfish. But I will never have to.

I will continue watching his vlogs and skipping the first 70% to get to the poker. I will continue enjoying the hand breakdowns, and enjoying the schadenfreude every time he busts out. Good times.

As for knowing about his personal life, that's the 70% of every video that I skip past. All he does is talk about himself. What he eats, when he goes to the gym, how he did at soccer practice (for ****s sake), what he eats again, his ignorant manbaby views on the world and whatever new age scam products he's completely buying into lately, and on and on and on. If his videos were just about poker they'd be 10 minutes long.

Hate to break it to you but everyone who is a proper grown up is a little bit false. stop holding people to some impossible standard he's only human.

I never mentioned any problem with him being "false". He's untrustworthy, but so what, I personally don't need to trust him for anything.

The things that make him loathsome are his grating mannerisms (imitating accents, "rapping", constant virtue signaling about inane things, and all the others that have been pointed out over and over here).

But again, he's still entertaining. I have nothing against him. His obnoxious personality combined with his undeniable poker skill is what makes it fun to watch him win and lose. For me at least.

when Phil Hellmuth busts, especially when he tends to do those classic broadway acts if you get my drift. That pacing back and forth is classic when he says something like "I can't believe it ..... this guy 3-bets me pre-flop, then calls off his whole stack on a dead flop with 27 offsuit only to hit a one outer on the river to bust me out of the tourney! Doesn't anyone know how to play poker anymore?!"

P.S. - No, that was not me who busted him doing that but in a way I wish I were that day.

You know nothing about him except what you see in publicly available media. You have no idea what he's like with no cameras on, and have no idea how much or little of him is fake.

He finds DN loathsome but watches all of his videos and has posted about him dozens of times in this thread. Let’s not get hung up on logic here.

On the one hand, the criticism of the videos is kinda pathetic because no one is making you watch them if you don't want to. The potshots at him or his style seem awfully petty, especially given that very little time is available to work worth and edit them. So you kind of have to give some slack on that, it seems to me.

On the other hand, they all seem to start with him shirtless and that is kind of skeezy.

Chance Kornuth busted Phil already this year with a sooooted Israeli Ron (rivered the flush) and Phil lost his **** saying Kornuth didn't deserve to win the pot. Kornuth had the best response: "There's one thing I've learned in my poker career, Phil, something that obviously you haven't. You never deserve anything." God I love watching Phil suffer.

Did you guys see how dnegs managed to film the bustout of his arch rival shaundeeb in the short deck? That was classic dnegs. Petty and childish.

Daniel Negreanu has spent hours upon hours upon hours before a camera, either talking directly to the camera or in intense/stressful very high stakes poker games with the camera rolling. Name another famous poker player with more camera time than him.

Based upon this, I’d guess that those who have followed and watched him over the years have a pretty good idea of his quirky personality. I would be shocked if the camera turned off and he suddenly became a silent, serious and dreadful human being.
