A. Attend birth of child. Have to stay away from the child 3x as long some other day in the future to make up for the lost EV

B. Dont attend birth of child. Get 3x that time free'd up to spend with the child later on

If you don't think being there during the birth is some inherently can't-miss-thing and you value the *total time you can spend with your child* higher than that moment, then not attending is perfectly fine. Attending would give you less total time in life to spend with the family later on

That you value the childbirth day higher than someone else (Deeb and family in this case) does doesn't make you right. It's their life and time.

I mean ofcourse there should be option C, but that was never an option for Deeb probably, he just dont GAF about being there and its his right. IMO its just ******ed missing a birth of your child over a day or two of SCOOP and the whole EV argument makes it even more sad , especially now when you have smilar online festivals running almost all year long. DNegs got him by the balls on that one lol.

I mean I'd be there for the birth of my kid but I don't see it as some end all be all thing of the child's life. I don't even know if my father, who loves me above anything or anyone, attended my birth. Not like I remember the event, I just assume he did but wouldnt care if he missed it. It's between him and my mother whatever the case was. For anyone else but the parents in question to bring it up is out of line imo, none of their business

As much as I like dweeb handing it to dnegs, he should change the subject from that instead of trying to defend it. Go back to how dnegs whored out the whole poker community for money or the choice center scam. Either way it would be in his best interest to change the subject because it is not a good look for him no matter what he says, or what he makes his wife say, on Twitter.

I was watching an old HSN episode where DN flopped a str8 and Sammy Farha raised him with a baby flush draw and DN reraised All In and refused to run it twice and SF hit his baby flush on the turn.....

Deeb and his wife made a choice they felt was right for them. People face hard choices all the time when it comes to work, money, and family life. Doesn't mean Deeb was thrilled to not be there. Baby's gotta eat.

Effectively DN is ridiculing them for not being well off enough to just make it all happen. Total lack of class.
