Today will be the third and final day of the tournament, with a winner taking home a new WSOP bracelet along with the $245,451 first place prize.

i just assumed the best player always wins and that any sample >=1 is statistically significant

His results have significantly improved since starting to early/earliesh reg the comps. 3 consecutive cashes and he stated during the day 1 vlog of this stud comp that it was the first time that he has totally felt "in the zone".

Not surprising really when so many of the other comps he was late regging short stacked with little or no feel for the table dynamics and under immediate pressure with his stack.

I was never a fan of Gatorade. Maybe Haterade is better? After all, when I hear the line "Haters gonna hate!", I cannot help but repeat that to myself a couple of times. Somehow it is kinda addictive. Not alliteration addictive or opioid addictive, but in some other weird way.

How is it I can be impressed by his play this year, but he's losing? 2nd in stud is no small feat, beating Johnny World obv is a lifelong dream of every poker player but so is climbing k2 without oxygen.

That was hard to watch. I don't play stud, but it seems like it's hard to fold and a lot depends on the runouts. World was running really hot and managed to dodge almost every big hand Daniel got. 1-2 big hands the other way and it could've been very different.

I can't say watching this enticed me to play stud at all. Pretty dry game.

Pretty clear he has a good profit in WSOP events over time, regardless of how he is doing this year.
