Because they aren't even really the same game. An exploitative strategy used for beating fishy live games isn't going to work at the 25/50+ games Daniel would be playing in where you have to know GTO very well. Like already eluded to, he won't even be able to get a seat with a bad reg, let alone a fish. In Daniel's case specifically he mainly plays live tournaments, which is a much different game in itself.

Seating script would mean he never gets a table where he is one of the bumhunters. Id say he is drawing dead unless he dumps so much into coaching that the top regs rather fivel with their navel than playing in games where Daniel is the mark - this way he gets a shot on weaker but no way weak in reality lineups.

I think hed have a bigger chance in zoom which is lol in itself as his strength should come from playing the opponent according to the live player mythology.

Online players very often play more hands in an hour than a live pro plays in a week. So not only are you playing way less hands live but you're playing players that probably aren't very good on average. Then you have all the software online that helps you improve that isn't possible to replicate live.

Plus if you don't have a script you're SOL unless you want to play the best in the world. Maybe Daniel playing would get Stars to fix that.

is it even possible for him to get in 50k hands in 2 months at those stakes? do games run often enough? from what i understand he can't really multi table so 50k hands would take him forever...
