The only way he would win of a large sample is if he went on a massive heater, im assuming he is talking about 6max but does he really think he has even a slight edge over players like Ike and Kanu the amount of work these guys put in away from the table is huge.

Out of the regs, he might be able to beat Gus. Just. No chance against any of the top guys, even if they were drunk/high. Would be hilarious to see him even attempt to over a meaningful sample size.

Problem is the people with hundreds of racks to put up against him are going to be the biggest winners with the most money and this generally the best players. They will be incentivized to play in DN's games rather than the games they would usually play (assuming they utilize seating scripts- most do) making the 1k-5k games even tougher than they would naturally be.

Ie Ike, WCG, the Bens putting up a million dollars and then playing 1k zoom or 5k ring instead of nosebleeds.

Seriously, though, this would be a good way to promote Zoom (and avoid collusion from those that might be incentivized to help or hurt him because of the million dollar bet) if he did the Daniel Challenge on that. I would love to see him get specific on this challenge (20,000 hands and must be up X$s to consider it a win with PokerStars matching what he wins as a donation to a charity of some kind) and make it happen -- at least he won't have the "rich Macau games taking up my time" excuse to fall back on like some players.

Banning HUDs while playing would change little at those stakes. Making HH work unavailable away from the tables would have a much larger impact on nosebleeds (this is obviously impossible to implement).

The idea for this to be done at Zoom as a way for pokerstars/DNeg to market it is a pretty fantastic idea tbh. Wouldn't be as fun to rail though.

I can't see him grinding out 8 tables for the next few months. It's likely going to be less than 20k hands and he'll have a decent chance just because of the small sample size.

I honestly don't even think DN could beat a solid 5/10 lineup so even if he sits in a 25/50 game and people take shots he might still be a dog unless he does a looot of work with world top elite over two weeks before. And then it's more of a testament to the skill of his coach than him, lol.

those aren't really "programs", as much as scripts, and on this level most scripts are written on individual order - so a guy who gets a programmer to write him the fastest script gets a seat. Other than that (for example, if few guy share the same script), i guess it's kinda random.

e: there are, of course, seating programs you can just purchase online, but they are far slower than custom scripts

I don't think fast computer matters much for the seating scripts (up to a certain point ofc), but rather how quick your internet provider is to send your data to whatever point the closest pokerstars server is at.
