Daniel Negreanu I am disappoint - Page 14 - Poker News

Barry Greenstein had the best opinion I ever heard about Pro-fan interaction in an interview he did with Poker Static. To paraphrase Barry said that Rene Angelil(Celine Dion's husband) told him that if somebody wants a picture or an autograph that's their way of saying you've done well in your profession, and a compliment. Moreover it takes 5 minutes out of your day, but it could be the highlight of their entire day. It makes people happy. Anytime you can make somebody's day with no huge loss to yourself it's worthwhile.

Barry is legit on of my heroes, and not just one of my 'poker-heroes'

I had the opportunity to meet Daniel in WPT Tunica Open in Mississippi in 2007 after he finished 2nd place to Brian Sumner. He was very accommodating with the request. DN is an asset to the poker community and a class act. The fact that he was playing 1/3 is his choice.

Daniel was one of the nicest guys I met at this years world series. He took a picture with me even though I claimed it "was for my mom" without hesitation and joked with me about it. Also he was one of the most talkative players (albeit drunk) at my razz table and was made the most boring game in the world slightly manageable.

Even though I said it at the time: Thanks Daniel I appreciated it.

I pretty much agree with this BUT... KidPoker, just say its not a good time, you left OP hanging hard which isn't kewl. That being said, my bro saw you playing when he was there, and we agreed prolly not kewl to walk up and ask for the pic right then while you were playing (it was at a cash table). He did not approach. It's not easy being famous, but you are, and you have more fans then most big name pros.

So if KidPoker did post ITT already, link por favor.

I really think that picture of Daniel and that guys wife is a joke. I'm not trying to make fun of her or anything but if you read the paragraph he said after the picture Daniel gave him money to buy drinks and when he came back he couldn't find them for a couple of hours and he let him keep the change.
