He's embarrassed it was brought up -that doesn't mean he's gonna change anything about the way he plays.
Basically smith plays in a way that's utterly intolerable for his tablemates while Koon made a couple of comments he didn't like. Poor smith!
I've played with enough people who tank, want total silence etc and are awful to play with. Most of them are actually nice off of the table. But if you politely bring these things to their attention off the felt they don't care.
I'm sure Koon had gone though this with Smith many times . Maybe making Smith a little uncomfortable over it will actually illicit some change.
If it really was the first time Smith would have corrected him on that and then I agree that would be the point for Koon to tone it down.
