I would take any of YOUR action he wouldn't cash in any of the 20-40 man high-super high roller events. He would 100% play the one drop if he is 10% as good as he says he is. ive played with him in bellagio hsnl games; he's not an idiot / knows what he's doing, generally. Certainly a dog in most any 10/20/40-NL game vs bellagio regs, but wouldn't surprise me one bit if he were in top-2 of an avg hollywood / businessmen game.

Agree he probably couldn't beat 25nl. I doubt he has won 50 million and surely has a huge trust fund/inheritance that he try's to underplay. He likes to show off what he has and wants to make it seem self made which clearly isn't . Do you believe the story that Rick Salomon won 250 000 dollars from Pamela Anderson at a poker game when they first met? If you play with regularity in games where real beginners are turning up and buying in for those kinds of amounts then isn't it possible to be ahead by 200 buy-ins? Blizerian claims to have access to games like that - possibly the Instagram (aren't the girls paid models?) is to cement his celebrity status and preserve his access to the celebrity games.

I cant remember exactly what the argument was, but i remember something about a very rude/mean voicenote left on Dan's cell phone from an ESPN executive. With that said im not sure why he doesn't give a SHR in Monte Carlo or PCA a shot, don't think those are covered by ESPN are they?

Sure:

Player A is Durr, player B is Bilzerian or really any of us who have played quite a lot of hands and read a few books, and player C is a player who doesn't really have a clear idea of relative hand strength (things like that a set is probably a fold on the river if there are four cards to a straight flush showing and you are multi-way but in another situation you can play it like the nuts). The gap between A and B is a lot less than the gap between B and C.

If player B has spent the last ten years playing live games with player Cs then he should be a large number of buy-ins up by now. Yes, it doesn't seem like he worked up his bankroll from playing 2NL online - it seems like he got a load of money at the start from somewhere, but that doesn't mean he isn't up a long way in the actual poker games, as all of us would be if we had the bankrolls to play against people rich enough not to care at all about money and the invitations to the right games.

Also, there are probably more discrete ways to launder money from US crime than being a US based celebrity

Why the **** would he bother with a high roller event full of pros? Life isn't fair and neither is poker. He gets into the juiciest Hollywood games. Games that probably make $25 NL players look like top tier pros. He doesn't give a **** about getting famous through poker tournaments because he already is a celebrity

Exactly. Some of the hookers are hot though so i'll give him credit for selecting attractive hookers.

I'd bet he's a break even poker player or worse but when you have access to lots of your dad's money and can throw it around, you can pretty much tell any story you want about yourself and have people go with it.
