I understand being jealous of his life -- he's rich as hell, bangs hot chicks regularly, is on vacation 24/7, but I can't fathom how anyone thinks he's a boss or has any elevated level of respect for him.

Nothing he does requires any skill or talent. He just spends money. I promise, if I had inherited millions of dollars, I'd do most of that **** too. There's no barrier to entry.

I agree most rich people are far less flashy and conservative. However many athletes, musicians, and entertainment people in general spend their money in the same way DB does.

Check out Floyd Mayweather. Although he is more wealthy and I am sure there's some brains looking after his money.

I disagree...Dan B.'s ability to do so many drugs and endure such extreme stress (e.g. Hell Week) while only having three heart attacks (and no debilitating mental breakdowns) indicates that he has exceptional levels of neurological and hormonal plasticity. This has got to be a "talent" in some sense.

But yeah, I don't think it's optimal to idolize people who don't create anything or have any good ideas. Hopefully the pro-Bilzerian-lifestyle posters are not imprinting their perceptions on any children.
