Sitting at the poker table all day and possibly for multiple days has to be unhealthy for a baby that's about to be born doesn't it? Sitting there for 10+ hours with the noise and everything plus the physical and emotional stress caused by playing poker is surely bad for the child. You're about to have a baby ffs stay out of the casino and be with your family and friends or something. Degen parents IMO.

By the way there is precedent for this situation at wsop.

John cernuto was rushed to hospital late in an event.

His stack was blinded out. Wsop refused to refund his buyin, but players did.

You're right chainsaw, this is HUGE news. You have identified the ultimate long con which will now sweep over the MTT circuit unless we unite together to stop these child-birth related tournament takeovers! I can see it now, prospective mothers getting purposefully knocked up exactly 40 weeks prior to the FT of the tournament they are planning on playing earlier that year for the sweet, sweet equity associated with the chance that they get pregnant that day, play the tournament 40 weeks later, run amazing and final table it, then pop that baby out just at the right time so that their partner can take over and scooooop.

It's almost tooo easy.

I usually like (cringe) some of ur posts b/c I feel u really do care about making the game better. In this instance however, I don't think there should be any objection whatsoever. It's just not a big deal whatsoever IMO.
