Do a little homework before spazzing. WSOP planning for Nov/Dec live tournies in addition to online events on July.

Ok, cuz Buddy Guy read and article on sports illustrated that seemed to imply that the online thing would replace the real thing. Buddy Guy lives in a state with no online poker due to fascists. Buddy guy is relieved by your words.

Post a link to prove this. Otherwise I won’t believe you.

When you play Utah this fall, come on down to Las Vegas and we will hook you up for an entry.

“We are committed to running the World Series of Poker this year, but need additional time to proceed on our traditional scale while prioritizing guest and staff well-being,” Stewart said in a press release. “In the interim, official WSOP competitions are expected to be played online this summer, and we will soon announce details of an expanded series of tournaments to be played on WSOP.com and through partnership with international operators, which will allow players to chase WSOP glory from their homes.”

It was on the wsop website as well. That’s TY Stewart who said that

As of right now they are planning for fall. I can’t imagine things won’t be back to normal, but seeing as it’s an election year, expect the worst.

Forget the wsop, just read that LIVE PD IS NOW CANCELLED!!

This is terrible. I understand all the protests but Live PD was a staple for me. I watched regularly. That sucks. I guess I understand it but it still sucks.
06-10-2020 , 10:46 PM
Yes, I am actually watching In Demand episodes on 2 TV's right now in case they pull those also, which they probably will tomorrow. lol

What sucks more is that Dan Abrams said on Twitter on Tuesday that they would not abandon us.

It also has to do with Javier Ambler that was killed by police in 2019 and Live PD had tape of it and never turned it over and since deleted it.

Nowhere in your vague quote does it say anything about planning for fall. But Buddy Guy is not going to derail this thread anymore. Sorry you made that up.

Pain it may be, but it's also the source for the data. A click on the 'excess deaths' link on that page brings up a bar graph of weekly normal and 2020 reported all-cause deaths that Arty McFly posted earlier. The data are incomplete for the last 2 weeks in May, and are still being added to as compilation of death counts lags actual deaths by a few weeks.
Check your 44 and under privilege at the door, please.

The increase in total death rates every ten years starting at over 55 is scary as f.

The first line you **** and your 3rd person shtick isn’t funny.
Go to the wsop website and read it yourself.

And stop using alt accounts.

It's what they said when they postponed it, and I've never seen them say anything to the contrary since. I don't know why this would be even slightly surprising.

And yeah, the third person shtick is quite unfunny.

FYI, Buddy Guy is a real person.

About 50 years ago, we used to go to the Checkerboard and other clubs on the South Side and frequently saw Buddy (and Junior Wells) on weekends. I've seen and heard Buddy Guy and this guy posting is not Buddy Guy any more than I'm Johnny "Guitar" Watson.

About a million years ago I saw Buddy Guy open for (and play with) Eric Clapton. After the concert Buddy was selling tapes out of the trunk of his car. Good times.

If the PGA Tour can come back next month with 8,000 fans, they can hold the WSOP.

You have Disneyland opening. 100x worse with asymptomatic kids running amok.

Get it on. Sign a waiver. Be done. Shuffle up and deal.

The person said they were planning on late Novermber early December. The first line of that quote fails to include the words “early,” “November,” “late,” nor “December.” In fact, it gives no target date whatsoever.
And calm down, bro, and by “bro” I mean never my bro. No need to call names and get so worked up.

Here’s the announcement from when they postponed. Perhaps you could highlight where it says November/December. It only says fall. That’s winter, bro.

How many of those 8000 fans travel from around the world to watch the PGA?

They can’t have the WSOP this summer for the same reason they already canceled the Boston Marathon that was rescheduled for September and the Berlin Marathon (in a country that has Corona pretty much under control).

And if they do it in the Fall, that’s going to be US-SOP plus international pros minus a lot of casual players which is something I have zero interest in.

For Europeans, the US is among the countries for which travel warnings have been extended until the end of August.

Did they send the pm in a third person voice ?

Gosh, thanks for the education on the seasons. But maybe you should look a little more closely at the posts being responded to before trying to argue about...nothing. Here's the post of yours I quoted and was responding to:

But since you seem quite obsessed about this Nov-Dec date, here you go:

Now maybe you can finally follow through on this:
