I did notice that all players will be required to wear a mask....

So, if the trade-off is 4 player, mask optional v 6 max, mask required, which is the better offering in your view as a player ?

Not a chance of that happening until they have audio recording at the tables. Far too much chance of shenanigans.
The outrage if they started recording everyone's conversations at the tables would end casinos for ever.

This is more real than others just taking reservations on certain dates.

I cannot believe they are actually using those plexiglass tables. Who the hell would want to sit and play poker like that? I mean I look at it like this, if you want to go to a casino to play poker at the moment, you are already realizing you are taking on some risk to catch covid19. Make masks required, 6 handed is fine and let us play. This plexiglass crap imo doesn't lower the risk to catch the virus by any substantial margin and it ruins the poker experience. That sucks!

That looks good. Would play immediately if I lived there. Let's get back to normal.

The plexiglass would help them during litigation or help them to prevent litigation. Surely there will be attorneys looking to exploit these businesses as unsafe to litigate and/or gain a settlement.

Nobody can sue the Indians in Florida. There may be a 50k max or something.

Insanity, right? I mean it's not like different people would feel differently - everyone thinks exactly the same way! And of course there's no reason anyone would want to take extra steps to protect their employees or anything.

The way they're acting, you'd think this is some unprecedented situation where businesses might try different things to see what works. We have tried and true methods from the identical pandemics we see every few years - just stick with those!

Even if I'm not a poker player, definitely all players wearing a mask takes a primary role over any other distancing condition.

Imo if all players are required to wear a fresh FPP2 mask and gloves and the environment is decently ventilated the risk of contracting or spreading the infection should be close to zero.

The future of casino table-side dining?

05-19-2020 , 06:27 PM
I'd imagine these plexiglass barriers will be gone within a month. Masks not to far behind. Unless there are spikes and outbreaks all over. Places are going to keep pushing the limits with the guidelines.... As soon as the casino pushing the limits shows no ill effects, the others will drop the safety regulations to match.

Looks like the Plexiglass is meant to protect the dealer. Should be standard. See the extra panel for seats 1 and 6.
