Dear players,

We would be happy to assist you with this matter. Please provide us with players real names, screen names, addresses, social security numbers, mothers maiden names, credit card and bank account information, as well as live video footage of them colluding (preferably smiling for the cameras). Then we will open an investigation and probably conclude there is not enough evidence. Thanks and have a nice day.

They are comparing groovy PokerStars Table Themes, such as Shiny, Marine, Stars, Hyper-Simple, Saloon, Techno, Azure, and Renaissance.

Collect them all.

If you zoom in on the first and third visible screens, they both appear to be playing on a 10 man tables (DONs) with the 3 and 6 seats eliminated.

edit: difficult to tell, but appears at least the 3 seat and maybe 6 seat is eliminated on the fourth visible table as well.

Josem, I think its pretty evident that if one person is using more than one computer each to play that whatever they are doing is not on the up and up.

What exactly they're doing, I have no idea, but that looks shady as hell.

But there is no money visible on the table.

If it looked like this, they could take action. Maybe.

The sound you hear is the money being withdrawn from the accounts.

On the issue seriously:

a) there's no evidence they were colluding
b) there's no evidence they were in the same tournament
c) there's no evidence they were in the same table
d) there's no evidence of anything untoward
e) there's no evidence that they were even playing real money games

The picture is a photo of some people somewhere with the PokerStars client open.
Does anyone have an explanation why he would write this?

Just guessing

But there probably isn't enough evidence itt to prove anything from Stars point of view

Though I would think they could do a little poking around and see if they find anything. Also, maybe stars knows this goes on far more then we would like to believe it does. They might not want to admit (if this is the case) how easy it is for people to collude is.

To me it all looks suspicious and they very well could be up to no good but, stars would really need more proof then we have so far, like at least SN's to start an investigation, they can't do much with a pic of unknowns.

i don't see anything wrong with this picture. i think they have enough sence not to sit at the same table

tho it would be cool to hang out with my friends and play poker in a coffee shop.

I expected something like this to have happened:
  • PS security immediately contacts the person who took the photo. Determine if additional photos were taken. Determine what she saw and overheard. If she had traveling companions, contact them.
  • Attempt to identify other persons in the photo. The guitar player/singer's name is known. Contact any identifiable person for possible information about the players in the photo.
  • Dispatch an agent to the Las Vegas Town Square Border's to determine the IP address of the wireless router. Determine what other nearby free WiFi signals can be received from Border's, such as Whole Foods, Apple Store, etc. Determine the IP address of those wireless routers.
  • The date and time of the photo is known. Filter the PS logins by IP address. Determine who was playing on PS from the Las Vegas Town Square WiFi IP addresses at that date and time.
  • Request that the security video from Las Vegas Town Square and Las Vegas Town Square Border's be preserved for a possible felony investigation.
  • Make a post in this forum that all credible allegations of violations of PS T&Cs will be investigated completely. Solicit help in identifying the players in the photo. Offer a reward for information.

I doubt stars has the capability or the legal authority do much of what you suggest, their a poker site not the F.B.I.

I agree they look suspicious and might be doing something like colluding.
Stars might be able to investigate things on their end and look for something.based even just on the time the picture was taken,if that's possible.

But,how is stars going to get video tapes, and be able to question people that were in Borders, it's not like they can send Josem with a poker stars badge and some PS warrants. It's unlikely the NV police or the gaming commission is going to care or investigate it.

Best thing is maybe if anyone can get the sn of some of them send it to stars and see if they find something.
