vvv low based on my less than complete knowledge of things. btw I was recruited for CR before the isildur thing and they told me this was a strong possibility, it has nothing to do with that or any other **** to hit the fan.

the going south thing is hilarious

I wonder if this is a fall out from the Isildur/Townsend issue, or if FTP would re-start an investigation, and if the spat between TT and Cole and the proposal for a cross examination/jury scenario would come to fruition, and if CR would support it

Re: Cole South leaving Cardrunners

Something doesn't make sense to me.

Why would owning part of CR take up too much time? I can understand not making more videos but part of owning a successful business that becomes as big as CR has is the luxury of being able to just sit back and collect your share of the profits while others do the work. Minus the occasional board meeting it shouldn't take up too much time.

I recently read the well of another poster on here (forgot his name) that built up a business then just moved away to go mountain climbing and live in a tree or something like that.

If he was spread too thin he should be able to step back from operations without having to sell his ownership. If you own stock in the company you work for you don't have to sell any shares you own and can continue to receive dividends.

If your time was so constrained you needed to cut down on things would you cut out free steady income for no/little work or would you cut out poker, something that doesn't make you money unless you're actively doing it?

You do realize that when someone sells shares in a company the price is intended to be based on the current value of that future passive income?

I'm sorry to see Cole leave as well and had hoped he wouldn't and that I could work with him on something, but stepping out of the poker spotlight, focusing on school, and playing poker when he wants is a legit reason.

It depends on their by-laws. They could have been sold at or around par value.

When shares are traded in an open market future value weighs into it more. For privately held companies future value is not that clear cut.

The weird thing is he rarely makes videos anymore so why not just freeroll and make one once every 6 months. Maybe he has a conscience, although that would be weird for a poker player (haha that means you)

Cole is obv already using a second account and Taylor asked him to leave the company according to his new rules for multi-accounting.
