Say it ain't so? My buddy, pretty reliable, mentioned to me that A Duke got her brother and his money in on this deal in a major way. Really???

Wow. Fulltilt is crumbling around him and he still has money to burn . It's so unfair.

Where has it been mentioned that Lederer or anyone associated with FTP is supporting the EPL?

I think your lying here man. If you have a reliable source then what is his name? People trying to wait and see what happens with Full Tilt so if your lying then I don't know how you sleep at night. Its not a funny joke, you shouldn't just speculate about stuff like this. This better be factual or you really shouldn't of started a thread about this. Prove to this forum that Howard was involved with investing into the epic poker league.

theyre still seriously going with that name?

it sounds like something an 11 y old kid would come up with, and all his friends would
beat him up for it, because it's that lame.

Wait, did everyone else in the world get their money back from Full Tilt while I was asleep?

Ofcourse not.

All,

Although this is quite a credible story given Mr.Lederer's wealth and connection to Ms.Duke, it is just baseless speculation for the time being. With that being said, given all that has happened, I would imagine that at this stage everything possible will be done to cover up any involvement Mr.Lederer may have with the EPL, and therefore we shall never really know the truth.

However, I would not be surprised to see this as the headline on QuadJacks later.

Cordially,

common sense tells me that its a no brainer. she started this league way before black friday and if you had a brother that had a company worth 3b dont you think she could get him to invest 5- 10 million or what ever the number is.probably some of his rich friends to

This weeks Podcast speculates that it is backed by the Pritzker family which makes more sense.

http://www.federatedinc.com/team/boa...rs/jb-pritzker to help the speculation.

As mentioned above, it's basically a tax write-off -- er, I mean "investment" -- for the billionaire Pritzker family.

LOL coming from someone who thinks people should be kept in the dark about FTP's financial dealings (since it was Ivey, Benyamine, and FTP's 'private' business) in the "Ivey borrowed 10m from FTP" thread.

Any chance that the mysterious deep pockets behind Epic Poker is Howard, Chris et al.? Is this their way of still being able to get a piece of US market once it becomes legal? We will never know for sure, but the mystery behind it all smells like Old Full Tilt. What group of individuals would have the knowhow and personal financial resources to help their little sister front person develop a brand and later after regulation instantly provide an operational online site?
