Made this thread to share the very unfortunate news of our friend Chris to the poker community.
Very saddened to say that he's terminal and will soon leave us.
A brilliant poker mind, who is in the first place a great father and husband.

I know Chris and his family from living in Chiang Mai Thailand. His wife also became best friends with my wife and their son was best friends with our son. It's been several years as I moved home, but I will never forget the time we shared.
A truly good person who is always ready to help others.

Met him 12 years ago in Chiang Mai.

If my memory is correct on the penultimate day of my holiday I ordered green curry. Ate one bite, way too spicy for me, Chris finished the meal.

So far I‘ve been very lucky in life. Contributed substantially for his funds.

Oh man this is horrible to hear. I never met Chris in person but we had various PMing conversations over the years WRT poker related topics and always seemed like a great guy in all my interactions with him.
