If he gets 86 points, his 3 teammates would also get 86 which would mean 3rd in the tag team (102 entries) would be worth a whopping 344 points. The winner of the 10k PLO (428 entries) scored 210.8
Daniel is a bit of a fool on this one.
Dnegs is the voice of reason, especially if that reason benefits his cause.

The hate for Chris in the poker world and on this forum is UNREAL. It is completely ridiculous fabricated nonsense.

Chris is one of the finest men in poker. It's not just random coincidence that he obtained the nickname "Jesus". He is a true gentleman on and off the felt. When was the last time you saw Jesus complain and whine about a bad beat? Countless pros do that. How about cuss about an opponent about bad play? The beloved Hellmuth anyone? Slowworm? Never, but several pros like Shaun Deeb sure do. Talk arrogantly about their position in poker and think of others as lesser because they don't have as much money? No, he's not DNegs. The point is, Chris has no flaws at the table, he is always respectful toward his opponents and to the game. Not to mention his signature style is one of the mist iconic things in all of poker. Anyone who fell in love with poker during the boom years will remember and love Jesus Ferguson.

The last 2 years the amount of hate and vitriol directed at him has been embracing for the poker world and has shown the world the absolute scum that many pros and amateurs alike really are. The sniveling little weasels who hide 6 tables away and sneak little snapchats of are the scum of the Earth and would wet their pants like Niagara if Jesus actually walked up to them and none of them have the faintest clue about the entire Full Tilt ordeal.

There was in particular that made my blood boil. The neanderthal who filed the Ferguson/Lederer tag team exchange and said something like "cant make it up". I don't live in Vegas anymore and have not been back in years but that video made me want to fly to Vegas on the spot and beat that punk to a pulp.

I for one hope he wins POY. It could not happen to a nicer and more respectful professional poker player.

KipperChipper you make a lot of really good points. A lot of us have really passed judgement on this man without actually knowing him as a person. All indications are that he leads his life in a very positive way so maybe we should take a step back and reconsider our opinion of him.

Hi Chris,

You can be as much of a 'gentleman' as you like at the table, and I'm sure you've never abused any dealers or players (Well done. You want a medal for that?). But the fact is that you were one of the people responsible for a company that literally took players' money that never belonged to the company, and paid it out in dividends to shareholders and other friends of the directors. The fact that you think you can just invite yourself back into the poker community like nothing happened, without even making any kind of public statement on the subject is f'ing disgusting.

I don't blame Chris for not making a public statement. Howard did, and it didn't seem to do him any good for many here didn't believe him anyway.

Ryan Hughes has just matched Ferguson's 14 cashes, a day after the record was broken, and will take the lead in the POY if he comes 6th in Event #63 (3rd with 20 players left)

Also John Monette is 8th out of 20 in Event 63, and 7th in POY. Negreanu is 5th and Obst is 12th out of 15 in the $50k. Winning would put Obst ahead of Racener, but Negreanu winning would still leave him 5 points behind.

Also worth noting that just mincashing the Main Event will likely be worth 53 points.

I believe his 24 (and counting) WSOP cashes over a 2 year period (2017, 2016) is a record. And one that will be tough to match.

They had a 5 year statute of limitations to beat.

They beat it.

Lederer's "statement" was almost certainly tactical, calculated peacocking factual elements of the case and the levels of deniability that they would have should a criminal prosecution be attempted, to send a signal to SDNY. He gave 0 ****s about the "opinion of 2+2", that is not why he did it.

Almost everyone here is naive as little 3 and 4 year old children about this stuff.
They do not understand the subtexts involved.

Yea you make my point with this. Exactly why I don't blame Chris. You really don't know the truth and wouldn't believe it anyway if it was staring at you in front of your face.
