Urge anyone in the League to immediately contact him and start the formal process going against Chino. This is being taken very seriously and he should be expelled from Epic and every Casino in town
As I've said before, it appears the rules of Epic began the day the player signed their paperwork and got their card. Timex implies chino has been warned that any confirmed scams going forward will result in a public revocation of his player card. I think that's a more effective deterrent to him conning someone while epic exists

I have not read all 29 pages, but I have yet to see a post that mentions his unhealthy look. If you see him in person, he looks very unhealthy and very thin. Unless he has an amazing metabolism, I think that it's safe to assume that this guy has a somekind of drug problem. It will also explain his ease with lying and scamming others, because I have seen people with drug issues do whatver it takes to get money.

I have had a thought of killing people, chino isn't one of them. I am that much of a loser where I would think about kicking him in the nuts. I wouldn't do it for money nor would I do it for 2p2 glory but I would do it,possibly, to make me feel better about myself.
What kind of a person does that make me? It makes me a insecure loser. I'm ok with that. Give me a vacation Gobbo I really don't care I just wish u had the power to give me a vacation from myself.

I wish I could be a sacrifice and still love on- Eddie Vedder

Bunch of pansies IMO
This. How many scammers have done this before and nothing has happened to them. Russ Hamilton, Lederer, Ferguson, Gordan, etc.

Every scammer knows poker players are the ones to target cause they do nothing but cry on forums. You can pay people to take care of this clown OP, let alone Russ and the rest, hopefully one day the poker community's balls will drop and bones are broken. I've busted a guy's leg for owing me a grand, imagine what i'll do if it was 40K.

paying ppl to go after someone is a bad idea, the kind who would do this are
usually ultra-violent and can easily go to far, in the eyes of the law, in most
countries, you pay/send them, you are as guilty as them, and the first thing
these tuff guys will do when looking at hard time is turn on you...

I await the day chino gets a small loan off someone who badly needs the money, he flashes the cash in a casino in front of him when hes owed for a substantial amount of time and the guy drags him down and beats him senseless.

but wait, my hopes are crushed, those odds are so slim it seems as he only targets the rich who at the end of the day dont care if they lose 5k.

Would love to see a part of EPL site that is like "exiled players" with a picture and story of why they are banned from the league. Should deter some future transgressions

I think it would be fun to mess with Chino

Find him before the tourney when he is looking to borrow money. Stand around and chat with him until he asks and tell him you can loan him the money. Tell him you have to go to your room to get the cash. Exchange phone numbers with him, make sure he has your number. Keep answerig his calls and tell him you will be there in 15 min... keep doing this over and over again so he keeps waiting and evenutally he wont be able to register for the tourney.

It would be even better if you were playing in the tourney, so you can laugh at him.

"Esfandiari Gone

Posted 4 minutes ago by CoryDowd • Level 11: 1,500-3,000, 500 ante

Chino Rheem got the last of Antonio Esfandiari's chips when his {k-Clubs}{7-Clubs} got there against {a-Spades}{6-Spades} all in preflop. The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} and Esfandiari was unable to recover from the crushing blow delivered by Justin Bonomo just a short while earlier.

Rheem is still very much alive, however, with 210,000 chips.

Wouldn't it make crazy tv if chino makes the final table, and a bunch of people who are owed money by chino rail the final table and call him out every chance they get?

Also it's so ridiculous that he has made $4.71 million in lifetime earnings, according to the hendon mob database (http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=s&n=41527) and he can't pay people back.

you realize he'd just pimp someone else for the buy-in and keep pestering you at the sametime in the hopes he gets a 2 for 1, buy in and an extra 20k or whatever...

The tournament isn't at the Rio, but this would just give Rheem more incentive to chip-dump.

You really need to ambush him at the cashier's window.

lol @ people suggesting that hiring someone to do bodily harm vs some of these clowns is gonna fix the problem.

One beat down isn't gonna prevent future scammers fwiw and it'll probably end up costing you a lot more considering jailtime for something like that is a pretty long time

Not suggesting that there be no reprecussions for what's gone on, but to suggest that "breaking someones leg" is gonna solve this matter for the entire MTT community is absolutely stupid.

Also, to those who it applies to, stop acting like toughguys on 2p2. Either that or make sure to wear a sign with ur sn on it the next time ur "breaking a guys leg over X amt of $'s"

The bully example does not hold water. Bullies don't want a real fight so when they get hit in the face they back down. Chino, it appears, has some sort of addiction (drugs, hookers, baccarat) and seems to have gone to any length to feed that addiction. Physical violence is not going to serve any sort of deterrent to him scamming someone else, but outing him on internet forums will in some part slow down people giving him money-starving the beast. Unfortunately this will just result in him scamming some live whale instead...

If I were OP or subiime I would confront him face to face anytime I saw him live (doesn't have to be super aggressive just walk up to him at the table and ask for your $$$) and talk to his friends on the tour (grinder it appears) and ask them why their friend is such a POS and why they are not getting him help...When that does not work, I would start calling his family and asking them why their son is making their family lose face.
i like ^^^this idea

chuck - what "law" would they be breaking to keep him out of a private league?! while it may be debatable that it's illegal to ban him from the league, it certainly isn't debatable that stealing money is illegal.

David "Chino" Rheem is a known con artist. He has scammed thousands of dollars from multiple members of the poker community. He is not to be trusted
[edit]
don't think it stuck... try it again imo.

sorry OP and everyone else - regardless of their lending $ being a bad idea, they didn't do anything morally wrong. chino, on the other hand, definitely did.

gl guys i hope you get your money back.

Ladies Love Rheem

Posted 1 minute ago by donpeters

Justin Bonomo and Chino Rheem got all the money in preflop with Rheem's tournament life on the line. He held the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and was crushed by the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} for Bonomo.

Luckily for Rheem, he found a queen on the turn as the board ran out {K-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{3-Hearts} to give him the double. Bonomo was left short.

"Ladies love me," said Rheem after the hand as he broke his stack down. "In case you didn't know, ladies love me."
Chip Counts
Chino Rheem 365,000 223,000 pos
Justin Bonomo 47,000 -293,000 neg

The OP accused Chino Rheem of being a scammer. The rest of the thread revealed, in fact, that Chino Rheem is not a scammer.
