Hello all,

It is unfortunate that I have to write my first long post on 2+2 with this warning to everyone. I feel bad that I delayed sharing this story for so long and missed an opportunity to warn others after recently seeing Ben Lamb's and others get screwed over by Chino. I am going to try and make this short and to the point.
The incident occurred last year at ept london. My friend brought chino into our room to hang out and play some online. This was the first time I met him but obviously knew about him from all his tv appearances and from seeing him playing all the big tournaments. It was towards the end of the trip and there was only the turbo high roller left on the schedule. He claimed that he needed stars money so he can directly buy in to the event and would swap ftp money in return. He also says that his boy Michael Mizrachi needs the same hook up and tells me, after calling him, that I will be getting a xfer from the grinder on ftp for the both of them. This is after him shipping the players championship and final tabling the main, so I obviously thought that there would be nothing fishy about this transaction.
I agree to this and ship 20k to him and 20k to grinder so that they can buy in in the morning. Xfer doesn't go through because it was the first time I would be xfering to their accounts and stars support was busy. Tournament is about to start so I have to go the stars desk and ask them if they can manually allow the xfer to go through. They get the money - everything is all good. I bust and later that day I see stars shipped 40k to both of them instead of 20k each. They made a new 20k xfer and after that was processed the other xfer was then able to then go through they tell me. I'm then make a big scene at the desk but they say they can't do anything.
I get on my flight back to Canada later on that day and get home to see that Chino has come 3rd in the event for 150k. I text both of them to see if they got double the planned amount and both of them confirm this with me. So I think all is good lol - but nah. Grinder ships me back the 40k and says I never agreed to vouch or send for Chino. Chino then becomes very hard to get a hold of and is making all these excuses as to why he hasn't shipped on tilt yet. After weeks and weeks of trying to get my money I finally get a text from his saying I'm broke and I can't get you the money... lol wtf? Dude, you cashed in the event I got you into for 150k and you don't have the courtesy to ship back asap? Grinder texts me and says he can't do anything and that he's gotten Chino out of these holes in the past but is done with it now. Chino still "owes" me 40k almost a year later. I put that into parentheses because he flat out stole from me and it's at the point where I don't expect to see my money back. He flat out stole from me and had no intention of swapping ftp money with me. I waited awhile to out this mainly because I thought there would be a better chance seeing the money if I kept it low key for awhile and gave him time.
Glad I got this off my chest - off to play day one of epic poker league now. I will defs be letting Chino know, if I see him (he qualified for event), that his already battered rep in the poker world just got a whole lot worse. **** been hitting the fan past few days in the poker world. Hopefully this isn't overshadowed by the other scandals and this story gets the proper exposure it should.

similar story around same time in london. was playin a 10 25 heads up cash game with a friend at palms casino. chino comes and sits down with 3k pounds. he asks if we just wanna flip instead of play. we oblige. he loses it after 3 1k flips. asks if i could loan him money to do more flips. i text a buddy who knows chino to see if hes good for it, he replied saying "hes always been good for it with me". i loan him 5k pounds. i quickly win it off him flips. i loan him 5k more, we do a 3 way 5k pound flip. my buddy ends up winnin that flip. he asks for another loan, i tell him i dont feel like extending credit past 10k pounds. he asks my buddy if he'd mind loaning him, my buddy declines. still havent got a penny. guess i basically got freerolled doing flips.

These stories are just a the beginning. While I think what Chino does is wrong, I personally think this story in paticular is somewhat ironic and funny. It comes down to his ability to "Chino" people. The story I heard that puts things into perspective happened at foxwoods a few years back. Apparently Chino and some other guys had called some strippers to come up to their room. The strippers came with a Madame, who apparently was the chaperon that hung around. Anyway, Chino smoothed talked the madame into taking like 20 or 30% of his action in the main event the following day, I'm sure baiting her in with whatever stories about how big the prize pool was, how great of a player he was, etc. etc. She basically wound up giving him around $3k for a tournament that he never planned to play in. My buddy Chris unfortunately was the one who called for the strippers and used his phone #. Told me that months later he was still getting calls from the madame trying to get a hold of Chino. He told me the story because he had been astounded as to what Chino was able to pull off.

a guy who plays the 5/10 game at my local casino satellited into a wpt event in 09 and final tabled it for a cool quarter million. he told us a story of how fresh off of his win there was a juicy 50/100NL game running at the casino where the wpt was held. he clearly had some extra cash and wanted to give it a shot, so he took 2 racks of blacks to the game with him. chino had just busted from the game and as he approached the table chino was leaving. he said that he seen him on TV as part of the november 9 so he knew the guy was legit and when chino asked to borrow 10k off him so that he wouldn't have to go back to the hotel to get it and could get right back in action the guy agrees (he also said he was super nervous approaching the biggest game he'd ever played in and didn't want to look like a pussy by saying no). chino busted that within the hour and left as the guy i know was out for a smoke. he obv never seen him again and no one in the game knew which hotel chino was staying in.
chino is one sick sick f*ck, and so is grinder for keeping that kind of trashy company. both of these guys think they're such "gangsters" imo but they're such douche bags. without his recent binks grinder would be as broke as chino, and it would not be surprising to see him diong the same acts that his friend does. watching the espn coverage of their scum bar mitzvah as if they were some kind of high class well respected people made me sick

I busted early in the tournament and chino ended up getting 3rd for like 120k pounds. He then proceeded to ignore all my calls and msgs for the rest of the week he was in london and never got back to me. Even though i was chilling with a group of his friends.
The first time i saw him after that i asked him for the money. He told me he didnt have it on him but he was sitting at a 25/50 game in bellagio. He then chilled with me a couple times and always brought up the money when he saw me.
There was one recent time that really was great. I was standing at the cage to register for the 2.5k mixed holdem event @ the series when chino steps up right behind me and says "Yooo buddy..how much did i owe you again?" i told him about 1.6k usd and he reached into his pocket and pulled out a wad of cash. At this point I was fully erect at the thought of chino paying me back. He then strokes the cash in front of me and says "ahh, sorry bro, just have enough for the buy in here" and starts smiling. I found this amazing as chino was having fun with the fact that he isnt ever gonna pay me.

My friend turned him down, said he didn't have much money.
Chino then went into "why don't you stake me" mode. Told my friend they'd have a much better chance of him playing. That he should give up his buyin for him. The funny part is it's probably true, but my friend declined again. Chino then insta guilt tripped him with some story about how all the pros are friends, and he'd remember my friend disrespecting him and that he'd get shut out of all the great games if he ever made it, etc.. my friend said maybe he'd ask another guy and asked for Chino's number and he'd call him in 30 minutes. Chino insisted to call now, my friend at that point got pissed off and told him to get lost, and Chino finally left...
SECOND, relates to a friend of a friend...we will call him Mr. Ig
So Mr. Ig was stayin for free at grinders house, some korean guy flew in and when Mr. Ig fell asleep, Chino logged into his laptop and lost his 15k online bankroll. When Mr. Ig saw his account was empty in the morning, Chino told him he'd pay him back later...5 years later....still nada

I'll be right back." 30 minutes later I went looking for him, I was told he had racked up about 45 minutes prior. OBVIOUSLY done playing poker by time he asked to play craps and borrow $$.

Everytime I've played with him he tells the table he can get more money if he needs to after buying in for minimum at a limit table. He one time said he was 2k behind at a 100/200 game and started playing and lost a couple of pots to 2 different people for 1200. He then proceeded to leave the table and never came back.
