Chino Rheem, Class Act - Poker News - News, Views and Gossip

Just finished watching the 08 WSOP up until the final 9. I have to say, I am very impressed with the way Chino conducts himself at the table. I don't know much about his poker game, but he behaves like the consumate pro. Tiffany Michelle on the other hand... ugh, what a brat.

he did compliment the guy for making a hell of a call, i think chino was just saying that he read the villain for an underpair and thought that he could move him off of it.

He didn't really berate him, he just couldn't believe how the guy made the call. He acted like a good guy for the most part, took the Ivan beat well, went over to the kid who busted 10th right away to offer what looked like condolences when people like Kelly Kim were up in the stands praying for the queens to hold.

Although I wouldn't characterize his comments as "berating" the other player (and he actually complimented his play in the hand at one point play during his celebration) given his behavior on that particular hand, I am surprised at the topic of this thread.

I have to disagree somewhat. Whenever he sucked out he was jumping up and down, high fiving and saying stuff like, "that's how we do...that's how we do"

When he got sucked out on he just sat there looking like his dog had been shot, mumbling, that's poker.

Can't really blame the guy, I'd probably act the same with all the money on the line.

I love Chino, definately pulling for him to win. Tiffany on the other hand came off as a complete bitch and I got the feeling she actually thought she was one of the best players in the room. I was really happy for Tiffany when I read about it over the summer but after seeing it on tv I coulnd't believe how terrible her attitude was.

Chino, while not being the most classy poker player, still acts with class. I wasnt too fond of his "how did he call with 6's" rant after he sucked out bad. Dude made a great call and got unlucky. But overall, his demeanor at the table was great. Didnt take suck outs bad. Doesnt berate players. He talks but its never anything really negetive
