Excluding RB, you're claiming it's harder to make money at most stakes on PS, even after all of the anti-reg stuff, than it is at WPN?

I think PS MTTs are tougher, at least when deep and getting into the cash, than WPN's are. I don't find the cash games tougher at all. I play lower stakes NLHE, 200/400 and below, and various levels of PLO.

I just assumed this was the case at all stakes besides possibly the highest stakes. Given the much larger traffic, much better bot deterrents, better security overall, and the anti-reg direction I would be surprised if Stars didn't have softer games. I can't play at Stars to confirm so I had to ask.

Say you got two tables across the street. One has low rake but is full of pro grinders. The other has **** rake but is full of fish recs that dont care. Which game would you rather be in? So you see, more rake actuallt protects the players.

Not by a long shot .... Raising rake generally does not protect players.

1. If a site wants to "protect" losing players, it could create "special" tables with access restricted to losing players only.

Losing players could then choose whether to play at the "special table" or venture out into the general tables. (Of course such a system could still be gamed, but it doesn't impose a higher fee for service indiscriminately.)

2. Alternatively, a site could give better rakeback to losing players than to winning players, if the goalis to protect losing players financially.

Never thought of it that way, makes a lot of sense.

Yeah 10% lossback or something to losing players would be great. And table caps and anonymous players would be good too.

I have a old screen shot I found from ACR after I was deleting out old screen shots from like a year or 2 ago complaining about how the sites greasy as hell full of bots. And i was reading and they replied " World renown tournament directors Jack Mcclelland and Jim Albrecht have worked with us to ensure the integrity of the game and many of the worlds top professional players have endorsed our efforts." If anyone knows either one of them. They should ask them if they actually helped acr to see if this is true or not. I guess thats their security a few mtt directors in las vegas who don't play online poker. It makes no sense to me. I also know mamacoolj was hired by them to make the tech issues better aka Qtip on 2+2 aka Owen Gaines. hes the guy they hired i am not sure for security but I know he told me he updates their software. Its weird cause i see updates but every time I play its the same software.

Jim Albrecht, who was a great person, passed away fifteen years ago.

That those fellows may have helped or advised UB seems likely, If I recall correctly, Jim Albrecht's widow was gifted a 1% interest of some sort in UB... (I recall talking to her once about online poker and she volunteered that info. I also recall she had no role in the site, no real interest in online poker (as opposed to live poker), was a very nice person and paid no attention to her share.)
